Xiaomi - Smart Band 9 Pro

Love mine. The device looks premium and easy to use. Noticed a bit of steps and sleep tracking inaccuracy, but tolerable for its price.

I love mine. The battery lasts much more than 14 days with heart rate monitoring on (smart), sleep advanced monitoring & breathing rate on, blood oxygen all day tracking on, stress monitoring on and AOD off. GPS is quite accurate when I do walking. For me the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't show sleep stages of 'nap'.

Since the Garmin and Fitbit were not enough for you, your expectations might be too high. Sleep tracking would never be very accurate no matter how expensive the watch is. I have used some cheap (less than 100) fitness trackers and so far Mi Band 9 Pro works well enough in my opinion. It does all you want (HR tracking, sleep monitoring, high/low HR alert) and also has basic smart features such as notifications, GPS, weather app, timer, alarm, compass etc. Mi Fitness app is easy to navigate. It does not fail to detect my actual sleep, but thought I was sleeping while I was just resting and not moving my arm for few times in the past several months. You can delete the fake sleep session on the app so it was not an issue in my opinion. The only slightly annoying thing about its sleep tracking is that it calls sleep shorter than 3 hours 'nap' and does not record sleep stages. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Mine worked for 2 hours, It got a little bit wet and then never worked again. The water resistance is a not as advertised. Recommend buying something else.

I also bought the moto watch fit last week online at [bol.com](http://bol.com) for 80 euros. It looks nice but can not hold the candle to fe the xiaomi smart band 9 pro and the amazfit active 2 (which i also own). The software is very basic,and i noticed you can not delete saved workouts!! The only good things in this watch imho are the long battery time and the outside looks. For all the rest i actualy would use other fitness trackers or a real smartwatch. It takes the time automaticaly via your smartphone,as i am in the Netherlands it took automaticaly the 24 hour system. BTW this watch can NOT be paired with iOS ..!! so it only works with android. The pairing of this watch with my android phone took me about 30 min....and was not without a few hassels. So iow not a smooth process. The stepcounter is acurate...and thats about it. Wasted 80 euros here. Not recommended. For this kind of money there are way better fitness trackers to be had!!

I am a cheap person and very sentimental, so I am just hsing the Xiaomi band 9 pro my parents got me. It's surely within that budget range you mentionnee. It works fine for swimming so far, been using it for over a month. Downside is that you need to tap the edge after each lap or it won't count the lap correctly but most of the time when I forgot it will correct itself the lap after. Somehow it doesn't log my heartbeat during swim session though.

my cons: - no physical power button - no way to turn off thermal protection - custom charging cable (just use a type c, mfs) - no nfc - no way to turn off bluetooth - no way to order icons in home screen mostly software related issues. fun fact: if thermal protection happen, it will auto shut down. id you dont have the cable with you, you ll have a useless watch until you get home. (yeah it happened to me)

If you're on a budget or are looking for something that wears smaller, the Mi Band 9 or 10 (9 pro if you need built-in GPS) are interesting and really cheap. The sensors and overall ux are probably a bit better on most Amazfit devices, but the Xiaomi smart bands are still pretty decent especially if you take the price (roughly 30-60 usd) into account.

go for the xiaomi then, its cheaper and does the job well for the price.

miband 9 pro has been excellent for me, does everything the more expensive ones do

I use the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro It's perfect for fitness, with the ability to set your favorite sports as widgets, on the watch . I've shortened 6 sports games, Kayak ping-pong, Archery, Tennis, Combat Cardio, HIIT. For Beat Saber, depending on your level, you can use Ping-pong or HIIT. You can even choose something else with the help of an AI. I paid €70 for my Band 9 Pro, but if you're American, thanks to your 'fantastic' president, you might not be able to find a cheap watch on Amazon anymore, with a 104% tax on products bought in China...

I have the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 pro as a gift. At first, I was not a fan of smart watches akala ko di siya need, pero ganda pala niya gamitin. I use the treadmill on weekdays and lalabas din pace mo kahit nasa treadmill lang. I used the GPS once sa outdoor running and maganda siya gamitin. After each run, lalabas yung details ng run and GPS sa Xiaomi app, Then just open strava lalabas din yung details ng run dun. Pero may slight difference lang sa data ng time, distance, pace. Lalabas din yung map ng GPS dun. Haba rin ng battery life, I only use it tuwing tatakbo 1 hr a day. I have only charged it once so far since I received it nung new year.

I had 2 Fitbit charges (4 and 5) and both died at around 2 years. Currently using Xiaomi Band 9 and loving it so far.

Wala yatang built in gps band 9. Currently using watch 2 lite, nagagamit ko kahit di dala yung phone and nag sync naman sa strava after.

I'm using a Xiaomi Mi-band 9 to count laps. There's more, but it counts laps fine, is cheap and has a battery that lasts me a week.

I know that Greg Mairs uses Zoop. Personally, I use a Mi Band 9. It lasts for a couple of weeks and heart rate is quite accurate +/- 3bpm. OnePlus has a watch that tracks shots played and so forth

I got a xiaomi smart band 9 for $30 USD from Amazon a couple of weeks ago. If you're in the US, it uses metric units; idk if that'd be a deal breaker for you. I just wanted something cheap to track steps and tell the time, and it works great for that. There is a period tracker, but I decided not to use it. Didn't seem like the best idea, being a woman in the US.

Wouldn't really recommend Pro 2 for that (either). It's just a nice looking watch with GPS. Xiaomi could be better.

I haven't tried walking in place yet, but I've jogged in place while wearing a Mi Band 9. (I'm not really recommending this watch... I'm sure there are better ones on the market. I only settled for this one because I'm a cheapskate lol.. But it serves its purpose, for the most part. ) Whenever I jog in place while on my phone, I hold the phone and scroll using the hand/arm that isn't wearing the watch (i.e. right hand). I continue swinging the arm that is wearing the watch (i.e. left arm). I've also seen videos and read about people wearing their watches on their ankles instead, whenever their watches are undercounting steps due to lack of arm movement... like if they're on a walking pad while working at a standing desk... I might try walking in place and wearing my watch on my ankle just to see how it goes.

Just so you know, I did an experiment wearing my Mi Band 9. I walked in place for five minutes in each scenario. Here are the results: .a) wearing the watch on my ankle - I'm not sure how accurate the heart rate is, since these watches are meant to be worn on the wrist. But it picked up my step count just fine. .b) wearing the watch on my left wrist, making sure to keep my left arm swinging. ( I was holding my phone in my right hand and scrolling , so my right arm wasn't swinging.) It also picked up my step count just fine. .c) wearing the watch on my left wrist but holding on to my phone with both hands (no arm swinging). The watch did not pick up my step count at all, and it said that the distance was too short to record. Conclusion: If you're going to use a fitness tracker/watch to track your step count while walking in place, you need to be swinging at least the arm that is wearing it. If you won't be swinging your arms, then wear the watch on your ankle. I'm not going to recommend this brand/watch. There are probably better ones out there. I was just curious and wanted to know for myself if it would detect my steps while walking in place. PS. I have a pedometer too, I might also test that while walking in place. But based on my previous experience with it, it doesn't detect my footsteps when my footsteps are too light. overheating shut down on the 9, doesnt take much just needs to be in the sun on your wrist in 25 celsius . take your charge cable with you when you travel else your watch might be off until you get back home which could be days,.

Huawei has shit app support in India Redmi had a great app. Idk current situation Samsung is pretty good, and probably the only legit 'smartband' in the indian market atm Id personally recommend you get a mi band 9 from outside india, or via DesertCart. They are cheap, more accurate, and more subtle on your wrist. Also, dont get your hopes up on the accuracy too much, especially for this budget.

I'm very new to this whole running and fitness hobby at etong Xiami Band 9 ang binili ko as a companion device. Goods to kung gusto mo lang talaga ng basic/simple wearable tracker. It does the job and it offers other features din. For a more budget-friendly option, you can also consider the Band 8 - reviews say na halos parehas lang with Band 9 except for some updates.

I got the Xiaomi / Mi Smart Band 9 after my Charge 5 died. I'm happy with the switch. More metrics and no paywall. It's around $50. Another one to consider is the Huawei Band 9. I couldn't decide between those 2.

I also have a xiaomi band 9 and it's a great little fitness/sleep tracker for the price. In your opinion what's the biggest advantages the apple watch has over something like the xiaomi where you're willing to forego the 10+ fay battery life for having to charge the thing every 18 hours?

Hell yeah mine has been great for me. Not the most accurate but I use it more as a watch with the AOD. Mi Band 9 is worth it for the battery life alone imo

I liked the xiaomi mi band 9. No. HRV but pretty accurate heart rate and pretty accurate steps. At least mine was . but if you're going to get that i I would change the band on it because it is garbage and I can't believe they keep putting out new models without changing the band. Mine would come loose and one day it came loose and it fell off and the watch broke.

Used to love fitbit, but now their stuff don't even last. I just got a mi band 9, and I'm loving it and just got the galaxy watch 7 because I got a promotion with tmobile, and that watch is way better than my galaxy watch 4. I was going to order the amazfit bip 6, heard good reviews on that one too. You just have to do your homework, go to YouTube, see reviews on the latest trackers and find out which would work out for you based on your lifestyle and budget wise 🙂

I have the band 9 and I have no issues with mine, the only dislike is that the mi fitness app keeps telling me to have the app running on the background and I've already gone to my phone settings and allowed majority of everything, that way I can keep getting notifications from my phone. But overall, I love my 9, I still have the mi band 4 and an amazfit band 5. I just purchased the amazfit bip 6, because I just found out that you can reply to your texts with that one, and I've been searching for something like that. It won't arrive until the 9th

I finally upgraded from my Xiaomi Smart Band 6 to the 9. I had been putting it off because I'd read so many negative comments about the Mi Fitness app. Anyway, my 6 was playing up, so it was time to upgrade and I thought I would share my opinions in case anyone else is on the fence. # The good * Larger, brighter screen that feels more responsive and smoother. * Longer battery life although I'm only on day 2 so it's difficult to compare just yet. * Shower proof - water no longer sends the watch crazy, it's like "Water? What water?!" * Improved swimming mode allows you to monitor your progress as you swim. * The app syncs well with Health Connect (Google Fit) and actually syncs my swims as swims, not walking. * I would possibly argue that the app (Android) is an improvement over Zepp Life in many ways, it has dark mode, it transferred my Zepp data across and it has some additional features, like Sleep Animal, and AI insights that Zepp Life doesn't have. # The bad * Xiaomi scales don't sync with Mi Fitness, so I still have to run Zepp Life for those and the syncing appears to be delayed. * I miss my watch face. The default Smart Band 6 watch face was almost perfect, or at the very least I was used to it. I can't find a watch face on the 9 that I like. There are loads of options, I just don't like them. * The date format is in American MM/DD and can't be changed on any face. * Calendar and reminders still don't sync with phone (Android). * Limited emoji support. * Still no NFC outside of China. * No voice commands (previous 6 NFC had Alexa). # Conclusion Overall it's certainly an upgrade in terms of performance. The swim tracking seems accurate and the device is responsive immediately after getting out the pool. It's very disappointing that the developers at Xiaomi don't put the same effort into the global user experience as they do the Chinese market. IMO Xiaomi really need to tighten up their ecosystem and possibly have a team outside of Asia to develop it for the global market. But I'm happy with it.

Xiaomi Smart Band 10 is only 2k right now with vouchers. I'm using the Smart Band 9 on my iphone 13 and it's really good! Tagal pa ng battery life. Halos di mo rin ramdam kasi slim siya.

Mi band 9 or 10, Huawei band also, not available in India easily but fairly accurate and compatible with IPhone. Got my band 9 from Philippines and works well for me.
