We got a Cuisinart 9-cup food processor as an engagement present from my wife's aunt almost 20 years ago. It *just now* broke due to dropping it - a plastic piece broke, and I could not find a replacement part (I did not look too hard, as I wanted the 14-cup). Otherwise, it could probably go another 20. It was a beast. Every time I used it, I was reminded of the giver for a second, and was grateful for such a great gift (she passed not long after our wedding). I have given a couple as gifts for that reason, so that is my recommendation.
I've got the 9-cup Cuisinart and my secret for smaller amounts is to have a smaller beater food processor that I end up using more often than the Cuisinart lol
A robo coup lol. Best investment I've made but i work in hospitality so it pays for itself. Also easy to clean and can take an absolute thrashing. FYI, This is the company that made the original Cuisinart food processors back in the day.
have you checked out Cuisinart? the ones in their classic line are pretty durable and can handle nut butters like a champ. just make sure to get one with a decent wattage, it’ll save you a lot of headaches.
