KitchenAid - 5 Cup Food Chopper

I have a 5 cup kitchenaid food processor that I use for salsas with some texture and a nutribullet for smooth salsas. Very happy with both.

Any idea what size your current food processor is? I’ve used the 5 cup KitchenAid processor I think it’s worked perfectly fine for stuff like coleslaw and making sauces and various other little stuff where I find chopping it is more preferable than the blender. I wouldn’t recommend the 3.5 cup chopper that they sell since the closing mechanism is a bit finicky and annoying which you’ll probably find if you look up a review of that one specifically. 5 cup and 7 cup work much better. KitchenAid also frequently has them on their refurbished section on their website. A lot of those are usually just returns from stores that are checked over or excess inventory that they receive back from stores. I’ve bought from there before and had no issues and basically got a brand new unit at a much cheaper price.

Howdy, depends what kind of salsa. For traditional chunky salsa really any food processor will work. For salsa salsa cremosa I like the Kitchen Aid Food Chopper (which I also use for chunky salsa). It has a pour spout so you can slowly drizzle in oil to create the emulsification needed for salsa cremosa. Lastly for a thin salsa I use my Vitamix. It blends everything into a complete liquid. I use that for salsa I want to use in a squirt bottle.

I have a tiny KitchenAid food Processor which dices things alright if you use the pulse function. It's not perfect squares but if I'm feeling lazy for salsa or something I'll throw stuff like onions and tomatoes in there.

Damn. I have that exact kitchen aid small food processor. I like, but will also purchase a larger one as it can only fit 1 onion at a time.

It is the small KitchenAid but a few years ago. I have two, a big and a small and I love them.

I wondered if I would use it very often, but after I got my food processor, I use it all the time, for all kinds of things. I have had a Cuisinart (with a French-sounding name but made in China. I usually have nothing against things made in China, but in this case, there was a big difference) and a Kitchenaid. I much prefer the Kitchenaid.

I have one and it's great! Is indeed kitchenaid. Can be used cord free and charged by plugging in so extremely convenient for those of us with limited space/limited plugs :)

I have a KitchenAid food processor and it tears through vegetables and cheese quicker than the processor can be cleaned. Made marzipan with it, pureed salsa and have made pie dough.

Imarflex is ok, Ive used it before though the one I had in the store did give out kasi we do hunmus na sobrang sticky type, but for everything else it would be able to handle it.
