I've had my KitchenAid food processor for 4 years and it's a tank. Use it multiple times weekly and still works perfectly. The 9-cup is good for most needs but maybe go bigger for large families. Comes with different discs for slicing/shredding that are super useful. They're pricier but worth it for the quality. My mom's still using hers from the 90s if that tells you anything about durability. Only downside is cleaning all the parts can be annoying, but that's every food processor tbh.

I just ordered a bigger KitchenAid food processor (9 cups) as I had a small one (750mL) and I was finding it not powerful or big enough to process purées. I don’t puree everything as my son loves BLW but pasta sauces, purées, dips (I made a beetroot hummus for sesame allergen exposure), even just blending a tonne of veg into a sauce or puree I needed something bigger! I still have a stick blender but will keep that for soups!

I wondered if I would use it very often, but after I got my food processor, I use it all the time, for all kinds of things. I have had a Cuisinart (with a French-sounding name but made in China. I usually have nothing against things made in China, but in this case, there was a big difference) and a Kitchenaid. I much prefer the Kitchenaid.

I have one and it's great! Is indeed kitchenaid. Can be used cord free and charged by plugging in so extremely convenient for those of us with limited space/limited plugs :)

Can't go wrong with either the Cuisinart or kitchen-aid. I have a Cuisinart that has worked great for many years. I use it pretty often and occasionally make pie crust with it. I probably use it the most to cut veggies - it's pretty handy.

It looks like my kitchen aid. I like it but it is small. Works for me because we’re 2 people and I mostly use it to make sauces and pastes

Look for food processors with add ones, I've had a ninja and a kitchen aid and both came with a grating disk. I rarely use it because it's messy, but when I do it works wonders.

Oh, sorry, English is not my first language. I was referring that either one, when buying look for the ones that come with a grating disk. There's a kitchenaid grating disk with two sides. The ninja food processor comes with a chopping and grating disk all in one.

Don't be. Kitchen aid is way better, it's powerful and fast, but it's pricier. The ninja is comfortable to use and easy to clean, not as powerful and will get the job done.

I have a kitchenaid one that I’ve had 25 years. I did have to buy a replacement lid on eBay a couple of years ago because I dropped it and cracked it.

I have a KitchenAid food processor that is almost 20 years old. You can pick up used good-quality food processors on Facebook Marketplace for a fraction of the original price. It's hard to go wrong with KitchenAid, Cuisinart, or Breville.

Kitchen aid; comes with tons of slicing attachment etc. Very sturdy and durable; I’ve had mine for well over a decade.
