It really depends on your application. On the consumer side, I've used so many different tools, it's hard to remember which unit performed better than others, but the one that stands out is the Ninja. I was working an event and had to make a particular dish that required a blender. In the moment I decided to test which of the two I had was up to the task. Equal in gradients in both the Vitamix and the Ninja. To my surprise, the Ninja was the very clear winner. The Vitamix just couldn't handle it. Which made me a little sad because I've been a Vitamix person for 20 years. I ended up buying the Ninja Detect Power Kitchen System Pro for my restaurant a few years ago and it's never failed us. It comes with a bunch of stuff I'll never use but the core components are perfect for us.

I stand by the Ninja blender, food processor, small electric chopper, smoothie maker, etc. I got a combo pack and love it. It has lasted years and works for everything. My family members have bought them on my recommendation and love them too. Just my opinion though. I know everyone has their own preferences.

I have the Ninja food processor (with the shredder, slicer) not the blender and the single cup blender ... they are SO LOUD. Sometimes sounds like a train. But damn if they don't get the job done..

The Ninja Pro does a pretty ok job of chopping, nice sharp blades, but the feed tube is TINY! I’ve had trouble fitting large cucumbers or similar
