I love my Ninja FP for so many reasons, but Ive never seen one that comes with a shredder plate, if that's what you want. When I want to shred, I use my Kitchenaid attachment.
r/Cooking • Looking for suggestions on buying a food processor. ->They are very powerful and also very loud
r/EatCheapAndVegan • What food processor do you use ->I have the Ninja food processor (with the shredder, slicer) not the blender and the single cup blender ... they are SO LOUD. Sometimes sounds like a train. But damn if they don't get the job done..
r/EatCheapAndVegan • What food processor do you use ->If the Ninja’s Auto-IQ settings let you program pulses, the Ninja may be more convenient than a Cuisinart (which is what I have). I don’t really mind pulsing it manually, though. It only takes a few minutes.
r/PeanutButter • Food Processor recommendation ->I have a Ninja 9 cup food processor that I really like. I've had a few different ones, including kitchen aid and the ninja is my favorite.
r/Cooking • Recommendations desired! Food processor broken ->I actually have the same food processor and I like it as well, but I was hesistant to recommend it (Ninja products don't seem to be all that popular in this subreddit).
r/Cooking • Recommendations desired! Food processor broken ->We had a Cuisinart forever and bought a Ninja recently and absolutely love it. [https://a.co/d/25lJDWH](https://a.co/d/25lJDWH)
r/Cooking • Does anyone have recs for a food processor that isn't expensive? Size? ->I am not sure if Ninja products are available to you but I bought one and I love it. It has the base and “attachments” for the blender, food processor and single serve smoothie cups I guess you would call them. ( I use the cups to make pesto since I am not a smoothie person)
r/Cooking • All in one food processor / blender ->The Ninja Pro does a pretty ok job of chopping, nice sharp blades, but the feed tube is TINY! I’ve had trouble fitting large cucumbers or similar
r/Cooking • Best food processor for chopping? ->We bought the Ninja Professional Plus 1000 watt processor just a few months ago and have been happy with it. [https://www.sharkninja.com/ninja-professional-plus-food-processor/BN601.html](https://www.sharkninja.com/ninja-professional-plus-food-processor/BN601.html) It stated as 9 cups but that is generous and would probably make a mess, it is certainly capable of 8 cups. It is plastic but sturdy, assembles quickly and the lid has a tight fitting seal. Suction cup feet grip our stone counters well. The multiple blades make real quick work of purees with multiple blades. We make a lot of hummus and its a breeze with this unit. It comes with a shredding disc, we purchased the couple other blades and a storage case from Ninja and they all work well.
r/Cooking • Debating whether to get a 14-cup food processor on sale (Breville or Cuisinart) or get a used Cuisinart Pro Classic 7-cup for $50. Hoping for some input. ->I'm a big fan of Ninja appliances. It started with the Foodie 10 in 1 airfry oven, which led to the Ninja coffee bar, and just recently the Ninja professional plus 1000 watt food processor. Everything they make just offers quality at affordable prices. I have been making a full 16oz bag of dried chickpeas into hummus once a week and the blender just couldnt cut it. The professional plus processor handles hummus great. A 16oz bag of dried chickpeas makes about 7 cups of hummus. The motor is powerful enough to make the hummus as thick as you want. The unit has soft touch buttons that will run the processor through timed cycles, it takes maybe 10 cycles of "High" to get the hummus to the smoothness I desire, and the motor base is hardly warm when done. The unit comes apart easily and makes quick work of cleaning. The only thing I found odd about the processor was constant warnings in the instructions to not process ice cubes without liquid, no idea why, maybe they want you to buy the blender for that. When we bought the processor the additional grating discs and storage box was on sale for 40 percent off, so we bought them. [https://www.ninjakitchen.com/products/disc-storage-case-zid693KKU602](https://www.ninjakitchen.com/products/disc-storage-case-zid693KKU602) As soon as the weather gets cooler I will start using the processor for doughs and see how that goes.
r/Cooking • Ninja Detect Power vs. 3 in 1 vs. something else ->I use it at least once a week, and the unit is very well designed that it assembles quickly and with little effort. The base has suction cup feet that grip my stone counters very well and prevents the unit from skittering around. Just make sure you get a model with 1000 watts of power or higher.
r/Cooking • Ninja Detect Power vs. 3 in 1 vs. something else ->We bought the Ninja B601 1000 watt food processor a few months ago and it is a great appliance. https://www.sharkninja.com/ninja-professional-plus-food-processor/BN601.html Sturdy easy clean base, suction cup feet really grab the stone counter. Cord winds neatly around the back. Bowl assembly is the bowl, blade, and lid with the pusher. It comes together in seconds. Lid has a silicone seal to prevent anything escaping. The blade is very menacing with multiple swirled very sharp blades that will be easy to hone if they get dull. It makes fast work of everything, I make a lot of hummus and a 1lb bag of cooked chickpeas is super creamy in maybe 4 to 5 minutes. Powerful motor. I used the dough blade to make pretzel dough and it worked the unit hard but it powered through. Has preprogrammed function such as chop, puree, and dough with high low speeds that will run for a bit before stopping. It comes with a slicing disc but we also bought the additional grating and crinkle cuts discs with the storage case, keeps it all together. The discs work great but you do need to shape your food to the chute . Everything is dishwasher safe but the bowl and 99 percent of the lid are smooth surfaces and a quick sponge and dish brush make quick work of it. Overall I highly recommend.
