If you're strapped for cash, Astro A10s are a safe bet and can usually be had for like $40.
r/GameStop • Is this headset good or should I splurge for the $25 one? ->I use the a10s and I don’t have much of a problem with them. I just tweaked some audio settings on my PS5
r/Rainbow6 • What’s a good headset for r6? Budget is around 200$ started to get more into it help please ->I had a10s for years back in the day when logitech didn't own astro, they were GREAT. Bought my girl a pair of a10s and not even 2 months they were defective... got a replacement and not even 2 months with that one they were defective. A buddy also got a defective pair. As a a40 user, I would stay away from a10s. Hope this helps.
r/AstroGaming • Headset Recommendations? ->I was in charge of development of the A10s back in the day, they were pretty much indestructible, had a lot of fun at E3 abusing them in press interviews, Not sure what happened since then since Logi took over, imagine the latter generations got compromised in quality to make more $$
r/AstroGaming • Headset Recommendations? ->I’m still rocking the a10s and they’re holding up well for me
r/XboxSeriesS • Headset recommendations ->I have the astro A10 gen1 and they're pretty good but the padding on the band have worn out do you think the A50s are worth the money?
r/pcmasterrace • Another „Gaming Headset“ bites the dust, tired of overpriced/hyped headphones. ->Those a10s are fine, it's the gen 2s you need to be careful with since my brother had a pair and they were horrible
r/AstroGaming • Headset Recommendations? ->That's the gen 1 so no need to worry, the gen 2s look hideous anyway so you can spot them from a mile off 😂 (Google will show exactly what I mean lol)
r/AstroGaming • Headset Recommendations? ->I can vouch for the A10's. Those ear cups are uncomfortable as hell and the audio quality didn't seem up to par.
r/Rainbow6 • What’s a good headset for r6? Budget is around 200$ started to get more into it help please ->I ran with $35 ($60 brand new) Astro A10s for years and I could hear better than most people I stacked with. Now I use Corsair HS65s and they’re great and comfortable
