I bought Asus rog pelta about a month ago and I’m pretty happy with it
I used one of the wired Deltas and they were pretty nice. I currently have a rog pelta wireless and that one’s also pretty good so the delta 2s should be better but I wouldn’t recommend buying used headsets from amazon, I bought 2 last year and one of them was broken and the other was dirty af, and we’re talking about “like new” condition. If you are buying a $200+ headset just buy something else brand new
Return them, they're on sale now for $159. should have waited a bit. They run great. If youre using the bluetooth on discord and 2.4gz for gaming. Make sure you set the Mic to 2.4ghz on discord or else youre get data interference running both audio and microphone on the bluetooth. Also the motherboard bluetooth is horrible. its not the headset. To mitigate this issue I had to purchase a Bluetooth dongle from Amazon. Avantalk C82 works great with it. The clarity, latency and distance. For a cheaper model you can get the Avantree DG60 works just as good. Honestly If youre not going to use the duel band 2.4gz and the bluetooth at the same time. Just get the Pelta. Save you a few bucks.
I have these for a month and they are great. I used Razer Blackshark V2 2023 and they kept breaking so got the Asus Pelta. Everything about them is great but they dont sit as tight on my head (they dont fall just feel loose when I drink water for example) and microphone is in a weird place, kinda very high on the headset but you can just bend it as needed. Sound and mic is great.
Idk why ppl are suggestion expensive setups when ur on a budget. My suggestion is wat i got the rog pelta, bluetooth and uses a usb c dongle id recommend but the Bluetooth worked fine with my rog ally x. I think it was around 130 so its not far from ur budget. The only criticism i have is the actual head fit can be a bit odd but its still comfy just dont plan on wiggling ur head around a lot or itll definitely fall off.
I use ASUS ROG Pelta without any issue (except that to change the profile through the Asus software you need Windows, but the standard one is enough for games)
The Asus Rog Pelta is an underrated pick for around or below 6k. It has one of the best mics I've heard for wireless headsets using the 2.4ghz connection and it has a very balanced sound signature for a gaming headset. Another question I have for you is do you really need a wireless pair? You can get a much better value buying the headphones and mic seperately and with a cable if it's not a hassle for you but I understand your preference (I bought these just because I got tired of dealing with my sundara's cable lol)
I bought the ROG Pelta recently for around the same price you said (I assume USD, $100). Pros: It is very lightweight The earpads are fabric instead of faux leather, less heat build-up on ears No faux leather anywhere, fully plastic. No peeling! Microphone is detachable and works well Works with cable or wirelessly with Bluetooth/2.4GHz, comes with a 2.4GHz dongle Battery life is good Good for big heads Cons: No noise isolation (which is expected because of ear pad material) No Active Noise Cancellation feature Although light, it wasn't that comfortable for long periods. Overall I'd say they are decent for gaming at this price point. Audiophiles might want to find something better at a higher price point. I listen to music with them and it was quite meh, played around with the audio tuning presets in Armoury Crate but couldn't get it to improve much. The design and RGB are quite cool.
These are currently my only headphones, stopped using the old Razer Kraken as it started peeling badly all over after a few years. The body and earpads are faux leather. I decided to get the Pelta as I was sick and tired of headphones' faux leather peeling. I use them more for listening to music/gaming at night so that I don't disturb others. Although there is no noise isolation nor ANC, the headphones are good enough to block out low volume background noise. Normally I prefer to listen to music with speakers as there is more bass ooomph from the subwoofer.
Too many QC issues. I went through x2 Nova 5’s and x1 Pro since September. First set the hinge broke, second one was DOA and on the Pro the ANC just straight up didn’t work. I got a HyperX Cloud III S and it’s been great. A friend has the ASU’s ROG Pelta which I’ve used and those are great too.
