ooh! Missed that. I can't do without simultaneous bluetooth anymore. Boggles my mind that the Audeze Penrose had it and the Maxwell does not. I did like the Penrose, but quality of life features were so much better on the Nova Pro. Wish I could get all the quality of life things, better range, and the sound quality of the Audeze in one package...

I had a pair of the Audeze Penrose, and I remember the audio quality sounding genuinely insane to me at the time. I loved them. Problem is though, the mic quality was dogshit according to my friends. Not only that, they cracked along the side and eventually fully snapped after around a year of use. I looked it up and saw that that was a really common issue, the build quality on them is genuinely atrocious when you consider the price. I paid around £250 for mine. So overall, the sound quality is beautiful but everything else really needs improvement (or a price drop). (Maybe my issues were unique to the Penrose though and were fixed with the Maxwell idk)

I had a *connected* set of Audeze Penrose that *connected* would constantly lose connection *connected* every couple minutes or so and it would drive me *connected* bananas. I ended up buying a Steel Series Nova Pro and never looked back. Not a fan of this brand.

Neat. I sit 7 feet from my Xbox and it did it non stop about 6 months after buying and I did an update. I unplugged other wireless devices to see if something was interfering. I even tried rolling back the update but it wouldn't let me.

You’d probably be better off with the audeze penrose or maxwell. Mobius is more of a wired pc centric gaming headphone.

The audeze Penrose very similar to the audeze maxwell but the mic is a whole lot better.if you look for a while on eBay you can get a £300 nearly headset for about £150 and unlike the maxwells the battery lasts more than a year and the headband brackets don’t break

Bought these then returned them and stuck with my Penrose. Dual BT connection is very important to since I use my phone as a second screen for a guide video and or facetime call. I dont understand why they removed that feature. Im not an audiophile but I didnt hear much of a difference in sound quality between the two and the Penrose has a bigger 100mm driver vs the 90mm on the Maxwells. The battery life and build quality however are different stories. Definitely something to think about because they are night and day. The Maxwell has a much longer battery life and feels more well built with metal.

If you don't need headset, when why bother with something labeled 'gaming headphones' at all? I had HyperX that weren't bad for gaming, and I have Audeze Penrose + Maxwell that i go as far as calling 'good'
