And the actually good headphones with a mic category of headphones is extremely small, mmx300 pro,pc 38x,, and audio Technica m50x with a mic are the only options that come to mind
I have the **Audio-Technica M50xSTS** w/USB connection. Beforehand I used hyperx cloud II's so these were my first non surround sound headest, which took a little to get use too. But the sound quality is insane! I have never had such crisp audio gaming or listening to music. The mic is one of the best for being on a headset, again very clear and top quality. I am a glasses wearer so always worry about if there are comfortable but these were fine! Tbh, my hyperx's were comfy as well but the ear cups were very bulky compared to my current headset. These don't pinch at all. There is no RGB and they only come in black. I am in the UK so I only just looked at the price on Amazon US and yeah...they are very expensive over the pond 😯 They are £165 in the UK, currently $249 on Amazon US. Outside of your budget but just had to give my recommendation (plus I typed this all out before checking the US price 😂).
Beat me to it. I own one, and it's fantastic
The Audio Technica M50STS has a very nice mic. I actually use the xlr version, but a usb one exists also.
Audio-Technica m50x with bigger ear pads. And then I bought a 2.5 to 3.5mm adapter and just added a cable with a mic in it. So now I have a wired headset that doesn’t sound bad at all!
Glad someone mentioned the Audio-Technica brand. My M50xSTS USB are still going strong and showing no signs of imminent death. And the microphone quality is TV-broadcasting-level great.
