>So my question is, what are the best headphones for guys with big heads? Any recommendations? We need a price-range. Also most "gaming" headsets are crap, that's why many of "us" switched to normal headphones + mic combos. My recommendations are *(heavy open-back bias for gaming)*: * SHP 9600 + V-moda Boom pro / ModMic 2 *(Budget)* * Aune AR5000 + Mod Mic wireless *(my favorite personal setup)* * Beyer MMX-200 *(good value)* * PC38X *(US* only [*Drop.com*](http://Drop.com) *+ all-time classic)* Earcup-size wise the SHP 9600 and Aune AR5000 are quite big and also fit most heads, with very good comfort. The SHP 9600 also have good after-market support for ear-cups/head-straps on Aliexpress. Than there are ofc the Hifiman Edition XS, with gigantic drivers and ear-cups, which i also really like, yet the headband design is very controversial, in either you hate it or are "ok" with it. While the Edition XS overall are excellent Headphones for Gaming/Music. Yet i personally like the Aune more for longer gaming sessions, while the Hifiman are for music or competitive gaming sessions.

Yea I actually tried them around an hour ago in my break felt pretty good so far. I think I'll order the mmx200 and try to wear them for some hours. If it starts to hurt, I'll return them. 14 day return policy without giving any reason is a bless here...

Switched to Beyerdynamic MMX 200, wireless. Lasts 2-3 days without charging (that means like 10-14hours per day as i also use them for work, listening to podcasts, streams, youtube and of course gaming), can work directly with cable too. I've tried a lot of headsets in the last 20 years, that's my favorite. Just checked, in the last 12 years i've bought 6 headsets on amazon. Corsair, Steelseries, Logitech (famous for little parts breaking making it unusable) etc.

They aren’t great sound wise. On par with the Blackshark v2. But more focused on the highs. They do have all the features one could want for gaming. Chatmix, simultaneous Bluetooth, super comfortable and great battery life. For sound quality alone at the $200 price point, I’d look at the Beyerdynamic mmx200 (when it’s on sale) for accuracy or the JBL Quantum 910 for a fun sound. If you just want a pair of Bluetooth headphones that can also be plugged in, have a look at the m50xbt2. They don’t have 2.4ghz transmission but they aren’t too bad when it comes to latency. Or, for the best sound possible, save up another $75-100 and get the Audeze Maxwell.

Audeze Maxwell is great for music, but for gaming best wireless headphone is Beyerdynamic MMX 200, should be 200 euros if I remember correctly, maybe slightly over your budget, Beyer stuff goes on sale a lot so wait unmtil it's on sale to buy it

Depends on the use. Senny's are gr8 but I'm lost in Apex whenever I use them, then I go back to my gaming headset and suddenly I hear third parties before they hit. MMX200 for FPS gaming - Skip over Sennheiser, or Senny HD6XX for atmospheric gaming. That said most senny's are open back which is a no go if you're in an apartment with AC or any other background noise.

Thank you! Im a worried because of the weight. With new cushions and headband it’s sometimes over 500g. What about the build quality… there is a hissing issue pretty often? With other presets the directional is fine? Since Im playing fps also The mmx200 having less Features. Theres no Eq to fix the sounding. So Right now Im more between the AW one and the Maxwell. But I can’t find good reviews there. At YT only 2 right now Techne and Gadgetrytech

There's also the Beyerdynamic MMX200, which is marketed towards gamers. Surprisingly good sound but that's to be expected from BBeyer.

Beyerdynamic MMX series are the best gaming headsets I've tried. Some people think I have a proper studio microphone. And the sound of the headphones punches way beyond its price point. They have no software and work perfectly with Linux. Otherwise I'd recommend some proper headphones and a separate microphone.
