Switched to Beyerdynamic MMX 200, wireless. Lasts 2-3 days without charging (that means like 10-14hours per day as i also use them for work, listening to podcasts, streams, youtube and of course gaming), can work directly with cable too. I've tried a lot of headsets in the last 20 years, that's my favorite. Just checked, in the last 12 years i've bought 6 headsets on amazon. Corsair, Steelseries, Logitech (famous for little parts breaking making it unusable) etc.
r/buildapc • Whats the Best Gaming Headset to Buy Right Now? ->I recently bought Beyerdynamic MMX 200. It looks like they discontinue this model. I don't know why, because I like it.
r/BuyFromEU • Gaming Headset from a European Brand – Any Recommendations? ->They aren’t great sound wise. On par with the Blackshark v2. But more focused on the highs. They do have all the features one could want for gaming. Chatmix, simultaneous Bluetooth, super comfortable and great battery life. For sound quality alone at the $200 price point, I’d look at the Beyerdynamic mmx200 (when it’s on sale) for accuracy or the JBL Quantum 910 for a fun sound. If you just want a pair of Bluetooth headphones that can also be plugged in, have a look at the m50xbt2. They don’t have 2.4ghz transmission but they aren’t too bad when it comes to latency. Or, for the best sound possible, save up another $75-100 and get the Audeze Maxwell.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • is Steel Series the best headphone brand for gaming? ->Why are you not considering the Beyerdynamic wireless (eddit: mmx 200) one?
r/HuntShowdown • Headphone recommendation: Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro vs. Audeze Maxwell Wireless Gaming Headset ->mmx 200 is great. i use them for over 2 years now and i love them.
r/HuntShowdown • Headphone recommendation: Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro vs. Audeze Maxwell Wireless Gaming Headset ->I use Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80 Ohm as wired headphones for best sound experience and when I need a mic but still a good sound experience and wireless then Beyerdynamic MMX 200. Sadly they no longer produce MMX 200 but you can get a more expensive version MMX 300. The **MMX 200** are really good when it comes to a crisp clear sound and the microphone is so good that you can even use it for podcasts. Build quality is superb. I’ve had them for a year and have been using daily with 0 issues. Even the leather cushions have 0 wear and tear. They are also really good in noise cancellation. Also, they are **driverless headsets.** So, just plug and play and **no** need for **gimmick software**. Whatever you do, don’t go for those “gaming” headsets that most youtubers put on reviews. They are all utter garbage for an overinflated price. Reading your previous experience with those “gaming” headsets is a proof that they are all shit compared to studio headphones or headsets.
r/simracing • Reliable good headphones for sim racing out there ? (preferably with no software) *PFA* ->Just purchased beyerdynamic mmx200’s
r/playrust • I need a good headset for rust no budget limit ->Had the mmx300 before. Got an mmx200 now cause i wanted to be wireless. Can use it both on pc and deck with the press of a button to switch between bluetooth and dongle. Mic seems great on that one too. Rocked my mmx300 for a few years.
r/SteamDeck • What headset are you guys using? ->I was searching the perfect 3D solution, too and i tryed it all. I end up with Gustard x18, Aune S17 Pro Evo and Hifiman Ananda Nano, optional with Dolby Atmos for headphone but you don´t need to waste so much money. Soundblaster x4 in is currently the best in gaming for 3D audio, Special with the Scoutmode. Sennheiser GSX 1000 2nd Edition driverless very very good. Both setup cheap and good with Beyerdynamics MMX Series Hifiman Ananda Nano was the best i hear for 3D Audio and take a cheap 2nd Hand ADI-2 DAC its the perfect precision on games, i doubt there is a better solution for this price.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Any “Gaming” headphones that are actually good nowadays? ->Beyerdynamic MMX series are the best gaming headsets I've tried. Some people think I have a proper studio microphone. And the sound of the headphones punches way beyond its price point. They have no software and work perfectly with Linux. Otherwise I'd recommend some proper headphones and a separate microphone.
