Audeze Maxwell 🔥 Beyerdynamic mmx 300 2nd + Dekoni choice 🎧 Awesome for music, epic for fps games and pro microphone.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best gaming headphones under 600$ ->I used Beyerdynamic mmx 300 2nd with different pads for gaming and Hifiman xs for music. For me, the Sundara had weak bass and the Ananda's treble sounded too strong to me. Ifi zen one + ifi zen can HFM my combo.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best gaming headphones under 600$ ->I’m a fan of the Beyerdynamic MMX300 v2. It’s literally a DT770 with a mic bolted to it. Great sound and has the same awesome comfort level.
r/buildapc • Whats the Best Gaming Headset to Buy Right Now? ->The DT770 has such a massive treble spike you will give yourself hearing damage if you don't already have it
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming headsets on reddit ->Why yes it is, I think it's between 8 and 10. Why, did you listen to reddit headphones advice and give yourself hearing damage? I had the MMX 300, which is a DT 770 variant, and I had to stop using them because while they sounded great, sometimes I'd get that ear piercing nails on a chalkboard effect. When I actually learned about their frequency graph and reputation it made sense. I will probably not ever listen to anyone whom recommends these headphones
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming headsets on reddit ->If you are going wired I'd try and snatch a deal on some H6Pros while they are still available. The Beyerdynamic MMX300 gen 2s are awesome as well if you can get them under $200. They are pretty much some DT770s with a built in mic and tuned slightly different. For wireless under $200 suprisingly the Pulse Elites are awesome. I still use my Nova Pro Wireless but reach for the Pulse Elites often and they are much cheaper.
r/pcmasterrace • Best gaming headset under $200 ->The hifiman xs are a absolute joy for music as well. Some user in this sub even described them as best headphone below 1000$. Personally I’m using them on a daily basis at work, for gaming I’m currently still using my Beyerdynamic mmx 300 gen two. I tried the xs for gaming as well (I play mainly hunt showdown, so also fps) but I don’t miss anything when using the mmx 300 at the moment (I only EQed them a little and reduced the 17k Hz area).
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Which headphones for fps detection should I buy? ->I bought some. They are nice for a pair of earbuds, but they're just convenient. They're definitely no substitute for my main headset which is a Beyerdynamic MMX 300, but sometimes I can't be bothered to put it on and I might be playing a game that doesn't need truly immersive sound, or maybe I don't want to mess up my hair and get "gamer-head". But yeah, convenient and "good enough" sound. They're like a mid tier gaming headset but with very weak sub-bass and a poor soundstage, which is to be expected. The mic also makes me sound like I'm on my phone inside of my bathroom lol, but at least people can understand me.
r/steelseries • Got my Arctis Gamebuds yesterday. They have made a fantastic first impression and could very well be my favorite gaming headset. ->Please stay away from ASTRO (at least their wireless ones, they are garbage, the wired ones are just not really worth the money but at least fine to use). The only gaming branded actually good headsets I know of are from beyerdynamic mmx (f.e. Mmx 300) series and partly steelseries arctis series. Also: an actual headset or headphones? Headsets in general are much less worth the money because of the mic, if it's actually needed fine, but if you have an external mic anyways I really wouldn't get one. Also consider if wired is an option.
r/buildapc • Gaming headset recommendations for my husband ->Beyerdynamic MMX series are the best gaming headsets I've tried. Some people think I have a proper studio microphone. And the sound of the headphones punches way beyond its price point. They have no software and work perfectly with Linux. Otherwise I'd recommend some proper headphones and a separate microphone.
r/linux_gaming • Advice for Linux gaming headphones ->There are tons of amazing headphones in that price range. If you specifically want a *headset* then I would highly recommend the Beyerdynamic MMX 300. Sound quality is superb and the microphone is actually very good. Been using mine for over 3-4 years now and I don't see myself getting anything else. If you want wireless then look into Audeze maybe. I dont have any experience with those headphones myself but I've heard they are quite good. I would avoid typical "gaming headsets" from the likes of Logitech, Razer, SteelSeries etc. These are mostly overpriced junk.
r/buildapc • Best Gaming Headset in 2024? ->IMO they are too overpriced. They are just the DT770 Pro 32 ohm with detachable cable and mic.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best headphones for pc gamer? ->That would be nice but it's wrong. If you check specs or read the Sehnheiser FAQ you will learn that MMX300 are the gaming version of the DT770 32ohm as well as the MMX330 are the gaming version of the DT990 32ohm.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best headphones for pc gamer? ->i also have these and have never regretted digging a little deeper into my pocket. best headset
r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS • Headphone to Gaming ->Beyerdynamic 300 MMX if you want a mic.
r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS • Headphone to Gaming ->Beyerdynamic MMX300 + Soundblaster external soundcard
r/pcmasterrace • Hello, what headset do you recommend to play fps? ->Beyerdynamix mmx 300. You asked for the best. I have arctis pro wireless, dt 770 and some other studio headphones, but mmx 300 has the sound quality with mic. Steelseries is also the most uncomfortable of those
r/buildapc • Best gaming headsets? ->I got the Beyerdynamic MMX 300 and the MMX 330 and they are both great, can recommend. The MMX 330 is a bit better I'd say but costs the same.
r/HuntShowdown • Headphone recommendation: Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro vs. Audeze Maxwell Wireless Gaming Headset ->I had the Byerdynamc mmx300 for almost 10 years now. They are fantastic. Switched now to the mmx 200 wireless because I always wanted a wireless. They are realy good
r/HuntShowdown • Headphone recommendation: Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro vs. Audeze Maxwell Wireless Gaming Headset ->Get yourself some stereo studio headphones like the Beyerdynamics MMX 300 (if you want your microphone on the headphones) or DT 770 Pro / DT 990 Pro. These are also available through Beyerdynamic's second hand shop, with full warranty for a good chunk less money than new ones. For very distinct directional hearing get an open headphone variant of these, that means you hear more of your surrounding though, but directional hearing is perfect on these. If you are in a noisy environment just get a closed variant. If you are just plugging them into your pc and not a distinct soundcard or an equalizer or something get an 80 OHM variant, otherwise up to 250 OHM. None of these so called "gaming headsets" or just veeeery few have good soundquality, most of them are very bad in comparison whilst costing the same or even more than good studio headphones. Edit: Oh and if you go wireless NEVER connect via Bluetooth, the quality and lag is atrocious. Always use the 2,4 GHz connection.
r/PUBG • Gaming headset ->I have beyers mmx 300. Much the same as dt770 but with a mic. Using with A small dac/headphone amp and its very very good:)
r/buildapc • Best PC gaming headset ?? ->I used the HS 80 Max. Icue is the biggest pile of garbage software I ever dealt with and rendered the headset useless without it. I went back to the beyerdynamic mmx 300.
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming headsets on reddit ->If you run some sound software, check that you don't run something like 3D Audio. Just a little hint but it can make a big difference. I run a beyerdynamic MMX 300 and ingame comtac6, works great for me.
r/Tarkov • Best In game Headset!??? ->At a thrift store budget, cheap IEMs like the Kiwi Ears Cadenza and Moondrop Chu II offer great value and way better tuning than the Alpha, but they don't surpass it in fidelity which matters more for gaming—especially with EQ. The Alpha's exceptional comfort alone makes it preferable over budget IEMs or budget headphones like the JT1 and M30X. While the Alpha and almost every headset is very overpriced at retail, thrift store finds change the equation. Used DT 770s can be found for under $70, and with a $20 mic are unbeatable value, essentially matching a $300 MMX 300 headset. That doesn't matter though is your total budget is 30 bucks. Dismissing gaming headsets entirely is short-sighted nonsense. The Audeze Maxwell outperforms similarly priced wireless headphones for gaming, while headsets like the PC38X and Corsair Virtuoso Pro are both headsets with great used prices that I'd take over traditional headphones like the HD 599 or Thieaudio Ghost. Though, I'd take a 560S over all four, but it is pretty hard to find a good used deal on the 560. The aforementioned MMX 300 is also an excellent gaming headset too—just $140 overpriced considering its a 770 with a mic.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Which one of these Gaming Headphone is the best? ->Beyerdynamic MMX 300’s with upgraded Dekoni Premium Choice Hybrid Leather pads/headband. Unbelievable sound quality and comfort/build quality. I run mine through an amp (Astro TR Pro Amp connected via optical line to my pc). They are wired (wireless cannot compete with wired premium phones).
r/csgo • csgo best headset? ->You have the MMX 300 pro, everyone I've played with said it's clear, never had any complaints. [Review here](https://youtu.be/iAnvEeIeYJc?si=ED_OSfIxTVxEU5B0)
r/HeadphoneAdvice • What’s a gaming headset with amazing microphone quality? ->I tested: Sennheiser HD490pro, Maxwell Audeze, Beyerdynamic DT 1770 & 1990 Pro MKii, MMX 300 & 330 pro, Hifiman Ananda Nano & Arya Organics and audio-technica ATH-R70x. I found my endgames for music in Arya Organic and FPS the ATH-R70x.
r/gamingpc • Best pc gaming headset ->Go for an actual audio company, op. I managed to snap up an mmx 300 and it was easily the best decision I ever made for both audio and mic.
r/razer • Razer Kraken V4 Pro sucks ->
