Kind of an unconventional choice, but I've been really enjoying my Bose QC35ii gaming headset for many years now, especially with a little EQ to make them sound better. I don't think they sell it anymore, but you can buy a boom mic and the headphones separately for a DIY version. It's super comfortable with super deep plush earpads. The ANC helps drown out my noisy HVAC unit and PC fans. Depending on your GPU you can use NVIDIA broadcast to help with noise cancelling on the microphone (the Bose gaming version's mic is already noise cancelling, not sure if this is the same with a DIY version)

i mean im a wired audiophile headphone with a separate mic kind of guy, but gaming headphones are getting really good so try the HyperX Cloud III Wireless S. It's well priced. and should cover all your needs. or one ive wanted but not sure you can get anymore is the bose qc 35 gaming headset bundle. ive had the qc35 for years and they are the most comfortable headphones ive worn. they can go wireless as they are just a QC 35 with a detachable mic and a volume nob controller. one thing i will add is the pad durability is trash if you wear them long hours every day the original pads will fall apart quickly, so get some 3rd party pads if you go this route. edit: so yeah you can buy a Bose QC/QC45 new and then buy pads, mic, and volume nob separately 3rd party and second hand isnide your budget. might be a pretty decent everyday to gaming setup, tho battery life falls short for wireless long everyday use, i had to charge every to every other day. oh i totally forgot about the surround sound, but i will say it dont matter, if you want surround sound get a 7.1 speaker setup. just forget about it in headsets.
