r/Stretched • Gaming Headset ->I just got mine yesterday... Hot Garbage! I previously used some generic Corsair HS50 headphones, and the sound quality out of the HyperX Cloud 2 are rubbish. I play CS2, and even at max volume its just a mess, grenades are overloud and just shake the room, actual footsteps and sounds I need to hear from others are muddled and not focussed, and my own gun shooting is overemphasized. I genuinely dont get how anyone recommends this for a shit. I can tell you as well, they are not properly supported on Windows 11, the drivers it installs are the generic Windows ones (just to make things compatible), and even when I tried to run the firmware updater it didnt even detect that I had Cloud 2s plugged in. So... Overall... I will be replacing them soon with something better. Very very disappointed, moreso at the amount of reviews that cheers these pieces of garbage on. Which a-hole thinks these sound good???? How??? Can you hear anything?
