"only program for them is bad it just disappears and then I have to reinstall it. ... It disappears from the desktop, a lot of people are complaining about it. U just need to reinstall it."

"For me, whenever there is a lull in sound in a game (goes quiet), the headphones",switch off" until their is sound again, but there is a delay in that sound so you miss the first second or so. ... Sounds minor, but it's quite frustrating when a cut scene starts and you miss the first word .. but happens all the time, and Corsair has no idea why."

"Wish icue would stop self destructing every few months"

I have the HS80 wired, and it's great, I just hate the wire, so I tried the MAX for a few days and returned it. It was amazing being able to get snacks without taking it off or laying in bed without needing to change headphones, but the sideline sucked on it.

I own/owned every pair so far of Corsair headsets. Best Sound quality for wireless, are Void 2’s, $129 new. What you have there are refurbished Virtuoso Max’s, basically new. But used, and don’t sound as good as the Void 2’s. They do feel very sturdy, on the heavier side as well. But very tight and your ears WILL press up against the speakers on the inside. Void 2s are comfier, more light weight and cheaper. The Virtuoso Max’s are only expensive because 1.) Bluetooth 2.) Active Noice Cancelling and 3.) Being Viruoso’s They are good, but Void 2’s and HS80’s Wireless or HS80 Max’s are better. If you want the best experience across the board in every regard, easily, are the WIRED HS80’s.

Logitech is ass, all the same cheap shitty plastic. The HS80 RGB is lasting me quite well, though I baby it and put it on a padded surface when I'm done. Stay away from any "enthusiast" or gaming grade brand in general, stick to professional hardware if you're serious about sound/ build quality.

I didn't call Corsair professional hardware, it's obviously a gaming brand, I'm just saying Logitech has gone down the gutter hard too the last few years... when I think professional hardware I think brands like Sennheiser, AKG, BeyerDynamic. A set of quality headphones on a DAC And a dedicated condenser/ midrange shotgun mic. Which I do have, I just don't have a good desk to set it up on atm.

I have the HS80 RGB (not max). I love them now but didn’t at first. I purchased them specifically because they were advertised as having decent sidetone. What I discovered is that I had to turn my game volumes down and the main headphone volume up. At around 40% sidetone comes alive and works great. Love the rich bass with Atmos as well.

My biggest concern being mic quality over sound quality, I went for the Corsair HS80 RGB. A great second is the Razer blackshark 2023 edition that one of my buddies picked up. I think both sound great, and mic quality is outstanding for both.

I use a Corsair HS80, when combined with Dolby headphones it gives a decent spacial awareness. The HS80 comes with a Dolby Headphones license.
