That's the only reason I want to change my Corsair Virtuoso XT for SteelSeries Arctis Pro. At first, it seemed okay having to charge your headphones, but once I started having longer gaming sessions (5+ hours), it became a pain in the ass. I get to play games once per week, and I don't want to deal with cables
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming headsets on reddit ->I recently ordered a renewed Corsair Virtuoso XT from Amazon for $124. I'd have never bought it full price, but for this cheap, it was a no brainer. I've never used a headset that comes this close to the full package. The microphone quality blows every other built in mic I've ever used out of the water. You'll obviously get better sound quality out of a standalone microphone and some quality studio headphones, but not everyone has hundreds of dollars to drop for a full setup, and those setups also lack many of the convenience features that attracted me to this headset in the first place (numerous connectivity options and multipoint device connectivity is important for me because I WFH and this headset does double duty as my work headset and used for playing games on both PC and my Switch.) Check out some reviews and see what works for you. The frequency response range is lacking for any audiophile types, but I'm not that picky so to me it sounds better than any other headset I've used over the years.
r/buildapc • What are the Best Gaming Headsets Available Now? ->literally just got the xt's like a month ago. id be so mad rn if i didnt have bestbuy+ lol definitely going to return these and get the max today. I hope they fixed my biggest gripes with them which is battery life and comfort.
r/Corsair • Corsair Virtuoso MAX Wireless ->Man this are miles better than the XT’s already and I’ve had them for 5 minutes lol
r/Corsair • Corsair Virtuoso MAX Wireless ->I’m still using my Corsair Virtuoso XTs and they’re a solid value for the price you can find them for used these days. Swap the ear cushions and they’ll last a good while. Removable mic, optional inline 3.5m connection, USB C connection, 2.4ghz dongle, and separate Bluetooth so you can have your phone audio and notifications at the same time as your other preferred connection to your computer. That’s all the features I could want and the sound is very good. Just make sure you disable the extra setting in Windows sound settings that makes them sound like a giant empty cavern. I never had that feature on before and when I built a new PC recently and paired them with it that was on bye default and it took me forever to figure out what was causing it. It’s the setting right above the one where you can select Dolby Atmos (which these also include for free if that’s your thing, just download the Dolby app and make them your active listening device in windows and it’ll enable the option to turn it on).
r/buildapc • Best Wireless Gaming Headset Worth Buying Today ->Oh I forgot to go look it up, I meant to do so and edit my comment. Yes the other setting is called “Audio Enhancements” and you absolutely want that set to OFF if you are going to use any Spatial Sound settings. For me it was acting crazy even just having that on alone though. No idea what “Device Default Effects” was doing behind the scenes under that enhancement toggle but it was trash.
r/buildapc • Best Wireless Gaming Headset Worth Buying Today ->Hell yea, man. Solid advice. I appreciate it! I have had mine a while but setting up with a new PC I’m starting all over with it basically. I kick myself every day for not picking up the white one I saw at Game Exchange for $50. It’s a damn good headset.
r/buildapc • Best Wireless Gaming Headset Worth Buying Today ->I originally had a st of virtuoso xt rgb had them for nearly 2 years before they developed a fault. Which were replaced via warranty virtuoso max silver. Personal I consider virtuoso a massive improvement in comfort over the xt the headband is a bit bigger and the ear cups despite still being round are slightly bigger and it makes a big difference. The clamping force has been increased, so headset dosent slip, & i dosent feel uncomfortable. The Bluetooth sound has been massive improvement with anc working nice haven't been able to. Try wifi as my pc is down. So far very pleased. It's a bit bigger but headset is better for it
r/Corsair • Corsair Virtuoso MAX Wireless ->For some reason I thought the dot was a USB power. Guess I’ll exchange for the XT EDIT: have you been able to access the manual?
r/Corsair • Corsair Virtuoso MAX Wireless ->Im a corsair guy for sure. I own the XT RGB with wicked cush and have mained them for a couple years. Haha not like i had another pair or anything. Anyway i just picked up the Virtouso Max on 1/25. Updated firmware and im fairy Tech savy. Amazing sound over the XTs once i played around with dobly and sound ID. Truely fantastic. I have a big head and I do notice clamping force on my head but it fits will. ANC is crazy. I didnt think i would need it but damn its goodtransparancy mode is good not amazing. I have zero sleep to wake volume issues Side tone works barely <---- frankly worthless also trans mode is not a work aroundMic is good just like XT
r/Corsair • Corsair Virtuoso MAX Wireless ->I use [this Baseus dongle](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C85759QD). It's cheap and small. The headset I use is the [Corsair Virtuoso XT RGB Wireless](https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-VIRTUOSO-WIRELESS-High-Fidelity-Bluetooth/dp/B09BXZKNDB/). This thing has been doing me good on my desktop PC for 4 years of heavy use and I see no reason why it can't go 4 more. I just have to replace the ear cushions, which I order from Wicked Cushions. It's wireless via dongle or Bluetooth, or wired via 3.5mm or USB. I never tried the 3.5mm, but everything else works without a hitch.
r/ROGAlly • Bluetooth headset recommendations ->Do these have more stable connection than the XT? I get constant interference on the 2.4Ghz channel. Sound and voice cut out repeatedly
r/Corsair • Corsair Virtuoso MAX Wireless ->Oh yeah my router and dongle are all pretty close. Almost on the same shelf… it wasn’t an issue with the SE, but was with the XT
r/Corsair • Corsair Virtuoso MAX Wireless ->The in-game 3D positioning is pretty awesome, so you don't need to worry too much about Dolby or other headset-specific 3D tech. To main things you want to look for are: 1. Wired 2. An external DAC. This is basically a dedicated sound card and you'll almost certainly get better audio out of it than any motherboard's on-board audio. The more you can spend here, the better. These are excellent for PUBG - [https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07TLX61W7/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07TLX61W7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) £85 at the moment. I've compared these to several different headsets and the Logitech give great positional audio and pick up stuff like footsteps with good distance and accuracy. The mic is great, but not quite the best - to be honest the best on-set mic I've used is on the Corsair Virtuoso, which are an excellent set of wireless headphones with unnoticeable latency...but they're much more expensive.
r/PUBG • Gaming headset ->+1 for the Virtuoso. It's a solid headset, great mic and has the benefit of using both wired and wireless channels simultaneously.
r/buildapc • Whats the Best Gaming Headset to Buy Right Now? ->I’m very happy with my Corsair virtuoso. Solid build, good sound. I have younger kids who use and abuse it and it’s still trucking. Only thing I didn’t like is the headband and cups. The spray leather deteriorated, so I opted for valour fabric instead, very comfy
r/buildapc • Best Wireless Gaming Headset Worth Buying Today ->I'm replacing my virtuouso with the nova. The v's cups are too small for my ears and the headband fatigues my skull, they are super heavy aswell. I did like the build quality and the detachable mic though. Battery has been dieing much quicker after a year but that could be my fault.
r/steelseries • Is the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless for Xbox the best wireless headset on the market right now for Xbox headsets ->Really didn't like it. Quite dull sound imo + USB micro. Still love my Corsair Virtuoso
r/steelseries • Is the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless for Xbox the best wireless headset on the market right now for Xbox headsets ->iCue constantly explodes, requiring a reinstall to fix, and the settings you put on the headset REQUIRE iCue to reapply every time the headset connects. I have the Virtuoso, and I HATE the green "not muted" light, and I hate the lack of control over which voice prompts they use. The cups degraded to shreds in under 2 years, the plastic holding one cup broke from an accidental drop onto the desk. The volume wheel has a mind of its own, can adjust system volume randomly, and may or may not skyrocket to 0 or 100% on its own. Needless to say, I have regrets, hence why I'm on this forum looking for alternatives
r/buildapc • Whats the Best Gaming Headset to Buy Right Now? ->I should clarify, \*SOME\* options revert to factory. There are two ways for me to turn off the logo lighting, turning the color to black, and setting the brightness to zero. If I set it to black, it will restore its color when not running iCue, if I set brightness to zero, it holds that setting. The same cannot be said of the "enable green light while active" setting. There is seemingly no way to turn that green light off without having iCue running.
r/buildapc • Whats the Best Gaming Headset to Buy Right Now? ->I was told to go back to Corsair Virtuoso headset because Maxwell mic sucked so bad. I disagree. And if I have to spend MORE money on a pricey headset to make it work well, then it has shit value
r/buildapc • What's the Best Wireless Gaming Headset in Your Opinion? ->These are great, but with the right EQ settings, the Corsair Virtuoso easily outclasses them. Of course, that comes at a steep premium.
r/Corsair • These are without a doubt the best gaming headphones I’ve ever used (HS80 MAX) ->The mic quality on the virtuoso is on a whole other level compared to other headsets in the same price range, goes from muddy to crisp and crystal clear with the virtuoso I will say my only complaint at the beginning was the comfort, it felt a bit too tight on my head but maybe that's just me
r/buildapc • Whats the Best Gaming Headset to Buy Right Now? ->i use the corsair virtuoso and connect it to DOLBY ACCESS for terrific in game audio queues. not joking when i turn on the game mode i can hear footsteps so far away and so accurately that i can still be useful when im dead because of my comms.
r/VALORANT • Best Headset? ->Honestly stuff now has pretty decent mic quality. Unless you plan to get into content creation, a dedicated mic really doesn't matter much. Stuff from Corsair for example have really good quality mics, the Virtuoso and I think the HD80 of whatever they call it, have perfectly good mics. Is a dedicated mic better? Yeah I have one with DT770s but no one will hear the difference on discord or in games.
r/buildapc • Best PC gaming headset ?? ->Gaming headsets uniformally have terrible ergonomics. If you must have something that's wireless with anc and don't care much about sound quality, I'd look into the JBL quantum line. They fit my large head/ears better than most others I've tried (arctis line, corsair void/virtuoso, hyperx cloud)
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best Big Head, Headphones? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
