"those setups also lack many of the convenience features that attracted me to this headset in the first place (numerous connectivity options and multipoint device connectivity is important for me because I WFH and this headset does double duty as my work headset and used for playing games on both PC and my Switch.)"

"has the benefit of using both wired and wireless channels simultaneously."

"terrific in game audio queues ... not joking when i turn on the game mode i can hear footsteps so far away and so accurately that i can still be useful when im dead because of my comms."

"The frequency response range is lacking for any audiophile types, but I'm not that picky so to me it sounds better than any other headset I've used over the years."

"I recently ordered a renewed Corsair Virtuoso XT from Amazon for $124. I'd have never bought it full price, but for this cheap, it was a no brainer."

"The mic quality on the virtuoso is on a whole other level compared to other headsets in the same price range, goes from muddy to crisp and crystal clear with the virtuoso"

"The microphone quality blows every other built in mic I've ever used out of the water."

"great mic"

"Personal I consider virtuoso a massive improvement in comfort over the xt the headband is a bit bigger and the ear cups despite still being round are slightly bigger and it makes a big difference."

"iCue constantly explodes, requiring a reinstall to fix ... the settings you put on the headset REQUIRE iCue to reapply every time the headset connects. ... I have reinstalled iCue a number of times to try to make it work and its straight up ass IMO."

"I HATE the green "not muted" light ... There is seemingly no way to turn that green light off without having iCue running. ... they made the Virtuoso default to factory LED settings whenever it was not connected to iCue, so I have to have it running to disable the LED."

Yo, I just went through this process. Unfortunately, all the wireless gaming headphones are lack luster in some way. Maxwell was the closest to what I wanted but went through two broken pairs so there's quality issues with the current versions and they're heavy. Corsair Virtuoso XT are great for FPS shooters and with an EQ actually have decent sound for media consumption but they get blown out of the water by professional headphones, and the battery is really bad and have to charge 1-2 times a day, mic imo is decent. Astro A50x is good with everything but sound. In FPS games I was missing so much detail compared to other headphones with them. I bought myself a Fiio BTR17 portable amp and now settled with Sennheiser HD 490 pro with a 4.4mm balanced cable. The portable amp makes the wired headphones into a wireless setup. I keep the amp in my pocket with the wire down my side, but Im thinking of even other methods like attaching the amp to the side of the headphone and using a very short cable. I added a Tonor microphone: [https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DG2RSR77](https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DG2RSR77) attached to the side of the headphones which has great sound quality. Also got a bluetooth USB that makes the wireless range ridiculously good. I like this set up because it's the best sound and microphone quality while keeping it wireless. I should throw in that the HD 490s are insanely comfortable and light headphones. People praise them for the comfort and I absolutely agree, you sometimes forget you're even wearing them because they fit like a glove. You can't even compare the sound quality of gaming headphones (apart from Maxwells) to professional headphones like the 490s. I can hear details, subtelties and separate sounds with them that you can't with most gaming headphones. Only draw back is having to charge the microphone and amp separately, and having to turn bluetooth on/off in windows settings at launch so it pairs with my amp (but could probably fix that with a script that launches when windows starts). I tried the MMX 330 pro before the HD 490 and that is very good if you don't mind wired.

I always use my headphones. Corsair Virtuoso XT. they're ok, have a relatively great mic (only compared to other gaming headsets), but absolutely overpriced an kinda uncomfortable. if you want speakers, either go for the Edifier R19BT 2.0 or if you have enough space for a subwoofer (under ur desk, gotta be not pressed against the wall or anything really) get the Creative Pebble Plus 2.1. the Pebble will sound overall better at a lower price (should be around 40) . But it needs extra space under your desk. the Edifier R19BT sound a little worse at a higher price (around 50), but doesn't need the extra space. I got the Edifier R19BTs for my roommate just last week. it's honestly overkill for just YT video watching. But yeah either option is great for their price. edit: I used to have speakers, but they're busted. it's just that I don't want to ALWAYS have a headphone on my head. sometimes it's bothersome. can't tell you what I had, doe. some no name shii, that was gifted to me (like the owner wanted to throw them away and went: yo u need speakers?) they sounded terrible, but if you chillin, it don't really matter. imma get the pebbles one day. or something better if something better comes out or drops in price by the time I actually buy one

I can recommend my Corsair virtuoso XT - the latency and the wireless quality is top notch - only downside is the weight of the headset. If you're looking for a lighter one, I definitely advise to choose one with usb-c dongle connection and not bluetooth to avoid latency issues

To this day, the closest to studio grade mic, on a headset, that I heard was on the Corsair Virtuoso RGB XT. That one was pretty crazy. Unfortunately the rest of that headset sucked. The Antlion mod mic wireless is really good, also, along with the Blackshark V2. But yeah, you can do better with one of those $60 Sno ball mics.

Corsair virtuoso xt. Integrates into everything i own. Can also answer calls on your mobile at the same as you are gaming if needed

At the time, it was just a handy use case scenario. The wireless headset i was using was a Corsair Virtuoso XT. It came with a 3.5 mm jack and I would use that connection to my Steam deck while at work. The 2.4 GHz worked great on my PC and I could take calls with the Bluetooth on my phone. One of the reasons I returned the Nova Pro Wireless was because the moment you plug the 3.5 into the headset, it powers off all wireless options.

Seems sucky, like why have that threshold. Corsair seems to have it down. I got all three working with it.

I’m no professional on the subject, so take my recommendation with a grain of salt. I picked up the Corsair virtuoso wireless XT’s for $150 CAD and am very happy with them.

I really enjoy my razer blackshark v2 wired I had a corsair virtuoso wireless but so heavy 30mins of gameplay everything hurt. So, I sold them and got the razer honestly amazing! 7.1 digital ss and super lite weight. I did get an amp from fosi from aliexpress, which has been a great addition. Don't get the razer from aliexpress I had issues with activation. First product I have ever had and issue and they did return them no issues.

Never buy a Razer headset. I have the Corsair Virtuoso and it’s been great for me. Wireless but an insane battery life, really good, detachable microphone. Fairly comfortable but not the most, sometimes have to adjust the ear pads.

r/GirlGamersWhat’s The Best Wireless Gaming Headset Available Now?

Available? Idk. But I have used Corsair void and virtuoso and both are amazing. The void was an accidental purchase, I hated the idea of wireless, but then i fell in love with it. It was really comfortable and the battery lasted all day and the sound was good. I upgraded to the virtuoso and it’s better sound and has a good mic but it’s not as comfortable.

Awesome. I’ve had my virtuoso like 5-6 years now and it lasts at least 10 hours. That’s the longest gaming session I’ve had that I can recall. Don’t even get the low battery beeps. I plug it in when I stop and it charges even when the pc is off. But you can use it while charging too, the cord is really long. It also has a USB mode which I think has slightly better quality.
