Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works
i got a corsair void elite great headset. The only issue i had it was like a 12h battery life it had a 1000mah battery. So i replaced the battery and put a 2500mah battery in it and it lasts like 28-30 hours now before it needs charging
I've a Corsair Void Elite. Positives: Wireless, sounds decent, very comfortable. Negatives: Battery life has reduced, Micro-USB rather than USB-C charging, almost certainly would need to use Equalizer APO to pre-amp the mic.
I've had issues with all the hardware from Corsair except their headphones which I recommend, my Void Elite has 5 years and counting
I don’t have any personal experience with the virtuoso max, I did have a Corsair void elite for 5 years that I got as a gift and I was happy with it. I think it depends how much you value wired vs wireless.
I have Corsair void elite, I can hear anything that moves and I've been using them for the past 5 years or so and didn't disappoint.
Yeah, they also have really cool functions, the microphone can be moved up and down, and moving it all the way up mutes it, you also have a wheel on the back of the left ear set to control the volume.
Oh that I know, I have used both the void elite wired and wireless, enjoyed both.
Corsair Void has been good for me... used it for many years at this point
Alot of clarity and soundstage tbh due to the fact alot of gaming headsets are closed back, for reference went from the Corsair voids to HD599 and an at2020 vocal clarity is much better. Beyerdynamics and senheiser make purpose built "audiophile headsets" they are in the 300 price range but for a decent set of cans a mic and interface will run you around the same. You also could look into USB options and 3.5mm jack
I just read the post I recommend the voids the only reason I upgraded was because my dog got a hold of them 😭
Not really... most people prefer open backs, generally closed backs aren't preferred for listening, I'd say the only reason I have a pair of closed backs is because of vocal tracking, but to each his own
I've been using a Corsair Void Pro/Elite on both my work and gaming setups for years now, no issues. I really like them. Eventually the ear cups wear out, but you can buy new ones from Amazon for cheap enough.
Don’t know if it’s just what I’m accustomed to but I’ve always much preferred the sound profile of the Corsair Void series more than any other gaming headset. Only contender for me was the Sennheiser Game One (slightly pricier) which I absolutely loved before I swapped out for a wireless headset.
