Does he need a microphone? If not, get him a pair of Philips SHP9500, they’re $60-$90 depending on sales. If he does, the Drop+Epos H3X are fantastic for under $100. If you want to spend more, get him the PC38x off of Drop.com as they’re cheaper than off Amazon.
r/buildapc • Whats the Best Gaming Headset to Buy Right Now? ->My usual recommendation, the Sennheiser PC38x aren’t on sale currently but a good budget alternative is the Drop + EPOS H3X. https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-h3x-gaming-headset?utm_source=linkshare Otherwise, I also heavily recommend the SHP9500 with a standalone mic like the V-Moda boompro. https://a.co/d/4rfCj3j https://a.co/d/fqkO2do
r/Gaming_Headsets • [LFH] headset for casual gaming and mostly video watching and music ->The PC38x would be the better product, and I’ve seen them go for $150 or sometimes lower. TBH though for the price difference I’d just opt for the EPOS. $20 and you’re going to have a hard time finding anything better for $100 or less.
r/Gaming_Headsets • [LFH] headset for casual gaming and mostly video watching and music ->Drop+ Epos H3X is the best deal in headsets right now. If you are willing to spend more money the Razer Blacksharks and PC38X have quality microphones too, but not enough to justify the price difference.
r/gamers • Best (gaming) headset with a really good microphone? ->For budget they recommend in ears and a separate mic to get better quality for far less. And to be fair, you almost always do. But from a gamer perspective, not an audiophile perspective, headsets are way more convenient. Plus, I think you can get good gaming headsets these days, you just have to be selective. HyperX Cloud IIs and now IIIs were some of the first to be decent. But Epos (which used to be Seinheisser) has some great options (like the H3x for $20 or the Open back H6pro for $80)
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Can somebody explain the whole don’t buy gaming headset thing please? ->Epos+Drop is the best for wired. (H3x, H6pros) Otherwise Cloud III's or Turtle beach Atlas Airs for wireless.
r/gamers • Headset - Decission ->I am going to throw in the drop+epos h3x. (Buy from their website for the lowest price) Just an insanely good deal on a headset. Probably as good as the ones mentioned by the other redditor, but for lower the an even the low end of your budget.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Recommended cheap Wired Gaming headphones? ->Epos H3X, on sale for $39 on Drop. Way better than that price suggests. Basically an entry level Sennheiser headphone.
r/SiegeAcademy • Best budget headphones for siege? ->Those Cloud 3s came with a tuned DAC as part of the USB cable. These Epos cans do not.
r/buildapcsales • [Headphones] Drop + EPOS H3X Gaming Headset | Audiophile | Headphones | Closed Back Headphones | Drop $20 + tax + Shipping ->The EPOS H3X is on sale for 20 bucks on drop.com right now. ANC is a rare find on desktop headphones, so closed back sets are probably as good as you are going to get, which they are. And while it doesn't have a dedicated "surround sound" feature, it has plenty of soundstage and positioning to give you solid 3D audio. Most surround sound gimmicks headsets are software based anyways, so you could always enable windows sonic or similar software if you really want to give surround sound a try.
r/buildapc • Good Budget Headset Under 100$ ->I got a pair of these and i can't get my computer to recognize it....
r/buildapcsales • [Headphones] Drop + EPOS H3X Gaming Headset | Audiophile | Headphones | Closed Back Headphones | Drop $20 + tax + Shipping ->for the price yes
r/buildapcsales • [Headphones] Drop + EPOS H3X Gaming Headset | Audiophile | Headphones | Closed Back Headphones | Drop $20 + tax + Shipping ->Yeah you will not beat these for that price. Even at their retail it's hard to find better. As long as you understand the positives and negatives of closed back headphones versus open back these will be amazing for you.
r/buildapcsales • [Headphones] Drop + EPOS H3X Gaming Headset | Audiophile | Headphones | Closed Back Headphones | Drop $20 + tax + Shipping ->I know what issue you mean as I had it on the H3X once, but it was a day 1 issue and drop replaced them. Never personally had it on my PC38X but I do know that some people have got it on theirs from seeing the reviews. On the H3X I got, it resolved instantly if you turned it back down and then back up tho. Idk if that is the case for everyone with this issue.
r/buildapcsales • [Headset] DROP PC38X Gaming Headset – Open-Back Over-Ear Design with Noise-Cancelling Mic - $149 ->I have a big head also and they fit me very comfortably. One size hats don't fit my head.
r/buildapcsales • [Headphones] Drop + EPOS H3X Gaming Headset | Audiophile | Headphones | Closed Back Headphones | Drop $20 + tax + Shipping ->Yea, they're having a big sale. It's normally like a $70 set. I also tried a set from epos, the h3x. They just dont sound as full as the koss set.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Advice for decent headsets primarily for gaming under $150. ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
