"The pinpoint accuracy is insane. ... This was more noticeable on Valorant as it is a more sound dependent game. You won't miss anything with these. I started to watch out at angles I wouldn't watch with the others because some audio cue made me suspect a door and ... it was 100% right all the time. I could tell where they were with excellent accuracy, both horizontal and vertical."

"they're also extremely crystal clear probably because of the 53mm drivers. ... I could feel everything, even just reloading a gun, I could hear all those metal parts moving. This was not even noticeable in any of the other headsets."

"3D hearing"

"relatively cheap ... around 80$ on Amazon"

"Unexpensive, competes with headsets twice it's price."

"They sound like very high but trashy at the same time. ... I made the upgrade to ps5 and they are a mess. ... On Apex Legends I can't play like normally because of this. It's like a chaotic sound coming from everywhere. :("

Really? I’ve bought 2 Kingston cloud 2s since 2017. My brother got a HP one a couple of months ago and it just didn’t sound as crisp. I asked him to do a blind rating and he knew which ones were which 🤷🤷 f knows. Just do whatever makes you happy

Yea I have the cloud 2 Kingston. I’ve tried the seinheisser hd560s and the steel series Arctis nova pro. Both of which are double the price but imo sound worse than the cloud 2. I am on console pubg.

• Budget - £80-£140 • Country? - United kingdom • Platform? - PS5 • Motherboard if on pc (or other audio gear)? - N/A • Requested Guide: Gaming Headset(AIO) • Open back or closed back? - either or • Any other gear you own(if important, like headphones or headsets)? - currently own an original Kingston Hyperx Cloud 2, I love the build quality and it’s only recently in need of a change after 8 years. Looking for something with that same ruggedness (metal adjustment bands, decent quality pleather, etc)

With all my experience I would suggest you the HyperX Cloud 2 wired but the old one Kingston version not the new HP. You can find it on Ebay or Newegg. It’s a 2015 Headset and yes it’s that good. I still use mine and just ordered a new one on Newegg.

Been using the hyperx cloud 2 for a few years now and I LOVE it. I have pretty large size gauges in my ears and these give enough clearance to not be uncomfortable. And they're on sale for 60 bucks! r/HyperXim looking into buying the HyperX Cloud Revolver 7.1 for my son are they over ear headphones and are they worth the price?

Im still rocking mine with just a new pair of earpads from central sound.co and the original hyper Cloud 2 USB card, sounds amazing, even after try hyper x Cloud 3 S Wireless and Logitech g pro X wired But they are old, and i dont think they are worth tbh, some DT 770 could be better

Alpha came out after Cloud II iirc. I don't know if there's any meaningful improvements over Cloud II however. As of the latter; I've owned a Cloud II and it was built like a goddamn tank. Sound quality is decent and I've spent countless hours in tactical FPS titles with that bad boy. I'd highly recommend it.
