i get the appeal of a bargain wireless headset. with marvo, the audio quality and build can be a real gamble. for not much more, the [HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 Wireless](https://featherab.com/shopit?search_keywords=HyperX+Cloud+Stinger+2+Wireless) is a super reliable option that's often on sale. it doesn’t have the crazy 50 hour battery but it sounds consistent and won't die on you in a few months. i’d personally skip the open box gamble unless you’re cool with potentially dealing with connection issues down the line.

sorry to hear about the nova 3p glitching, that sounds annoying. for around $70 on ps5, i've had good luck with the [HyperX Cloud Stinger 2](https://metadoraffi-eng.github.io/shopit?HyperX+Cloud+Stinger+2+gaming+headset) as a wired option - it's simple, reliable, and actually pretty comfy. if you want to try wireless again, the [Razer Barracuda X](https://metadoraffi-eng.github.io/shopit?Razer+Barracuda+X+wireless+gaming+headset) sometimes goes on sale near your budget and has a solid ps5 connection. honestly though, at that price point, wired usually gives you better consistency, and the [SteelSeries Arctis 1](https://metadoraffi-eng.github.io/shopit?SteelSeries+Arctis+1+gaming+headset) is another decent pick that shouldn't have the same issues as the nova 3p. i'd lean toward the cloud stinger 2 for pure reliability tbh.

bummer about the glitching - wireless interference can be such a pain. if you want something that just works without the headache, the [HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 Core wired](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=hyperx+cloud+stinger+2+core&language=en_US&tag=bestdeals202f-20&ref=as_li_ss_tl) is right around your budget. plugs right into the controller and the audio stays clean no matter how chaotic the match gets. directional audio is solid for the price and you dont have to worry about charging or dropouts. sometimes wired is the move for PS5 just for the peace of mind.

I like Logitech, personally, i have the G PRO X wired and wireless. HyperX you might like aswell, have a cheap headset that is fairly decent, Hyperx Cloud Stinger 2. Its a question to go to a local store and try the display ones, if theres some. Logitech and HyperX have both cheap options for headphones, they are not bad at all. But still look on Aliexpress or even Temu, for the most sold headphones with good reviews, look at reviews with photo/videos.

Thank you so much for your detailed reply I have decided to spend a tad more to get the HyperX cloud stinger 2 (non core) which seems to have better quality audio and a sturdier build compared to the core. I know this may not be your area of expertise but if you do happen to know do tell : I'm going to be buying the stinger 2 in India where I am currently residing. Soon I will be moving to the US and will be staying there. If there was a problem with the headphones in the US while under warranty, would I be able to replace them there or would that only be applicable in India. (unrelated but I also find IEMs to be mildly uncomfortable despite everyone online seemingly liking them lol) !thanks

They do work on mobile! (Obviously not if your mobile doesnt have a 3.5mm audio jack tho). I would say the sound quality and mic are good for the price, now I'll have to see how the headphones hold up against the test of time

Hi, I ended up getting the stinger(non core version) and it's pretty good for all my needs! One mild annoyance is that I hear static or smthing of the sort when theres audio playing but the audio in the actual video isn't loud enough if you get what I'm saying.  I can't really tell whether it's the headphones or my system but is there any fix for it or is it normal

I bought a few Headsets over the years, and I have made a few Observations: Good quality sound is good for Music, but not neccessarily good for Gaming. I had a 150€ sennheiser that was Great, but the Audio mix made it hard to heat footsteps ingame. It was very Base Heavy, Great for music but completely useless for wz.   I bought a 50 Bucks hyperx cloud stinger 2 and all of a sudden i could hear footsteps clear as day. It Sounds like it looks, plastic.  It isnt Pretty, and it wont live Long I guess, because well, flimsy pastic and I am clumsy as fuck. But I got better at wz because I finally had good Audio. I think this Headset is not available anymore, and the successor is not as good.  But dont spend an enourmous amount on a Headset, the Budget ones might have better Audio ingame!

I am looking to get a new headset for my ps5. Ideally i am looking to spend no more than 60-70 US dollars(if its good then maybe ill go over). I currently have the hyperx cloud stinger 2. I originally bought it to use on the nintendo switch, but wired headphones aren’t that great with the ps5 controller. I want a bluetooth headset that has a good mic. I dont want my voice to sound muffled. I want a good clear sounding mic on the headset. The sound quality isn’t as big of a concern as mic quality, but still important. Any recommendations?

I have purchased the wired JBL Quantum 100 a year ago. The mic was really great and i got a lot of compliments on the quality of it, but the mic stopped working after a month. I asked around and people have said not to rely on JBL for making good gaming headsets. Should I still get the Quantum 360P? I wanted to stay away from wired headsets just because i’ve heard that the PS5 controller doesn’t pair great with them. And in my experience with the HyperX headset its true. The mic always cuts out and people i game with can hear static, so I have to twist the wire every now and then to fix it. Plus the mic quality isn’t that great.
