sorry to hear about the nova 3p glitching, that sounds annoying. for around $70 on ps5, i've had good luck with the [HyperX Cloud Stinger 2](https://metadoraffi-eng.github.io/shopit?HyperX+Cloud+Stinger+2+gaming+headset) as a wired option - it's simple, reliable, and actually pretty comfy. if you want to try wireless again, the [Razer Barracuda X](https://metadoraffi-eng.github.io/shopit?Razer+Barracuda+X+wireless+gaming+headset) sometimes goes on sale near your budget and has a solid ps5 connection. honestly though, at that price point, wired usually gives you better consistency, and the [SteelSeries Arctis 1](https://metadoraffi-eng.github.io/shopit?SteelSeries+Arctis+1+gaming+headset) is another decent pick that shouldn't have the same issues as the nova 3p. i'd lean toward the cloud stinger 2 for pure reliability tbh.

bummer about the glitching - wireless interference can be such a pain. if you want something that just works without the headache, the [HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 Core wired](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=hyperx+cloud+stinger+2+core&language=en_US&tag=bestdeals202f-20&ref=as_li_ss_tl) is right around your budget. plugs right into the controller and the audio stays clean no matter how chaotic the match gets. directional audio is solid for the price and you dont have to worry about charging or dropouts. sometimes wired is the move for PS5 just for the peace of mind.

for that budget and wanting bass plus surround, check the [Razer BlackShark V2 X](https://featherab.com/shopit?search_keywords=Razer+BlackShark+V2+X) - it's usually around $50 cad on amazon and has razer's surround sound software that actually works. [HyperX Cloud Stinger Core](https://featherab.com/shopit?search_keywords=HyperX+Cloud+Stinger+Core) is another one with solid bass for dayz footsteps. that flying around your head feeling is virtual surround and both do it well. your old pair probably had it enabled in software so just install the driver for whichever you grab. been using the razer one myself and explosions sound chunky enough.

They work fine? I used them when Online Zoom school was a thing. Maybe your Network or mic settings are set badly

Stinger 2 or the Logitech. Neither of these is really "good" but for less than ten bucks it's okay. And these are still better tuned than the other options here. Though at that price point you might want to try IEMs instead. Truthear Gate or Moondrop Chu 2 are both about 20 dollars and are far, far above any of these sound wise.

Hyper X all the way. They have been my go to for some time now. https://preview.redd.it/30xztenniv1g1.jpeg?width=2371&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2fd20bcef0f9034e6dcce50196913f285a46ea98 Totally not biased at all.

I've got one of each from each price point, I love them all equally. Whichever you choose, definitely go wired as others have said.

Had to double check because of the names. Those 2 are the ones I use the most. Both sound great, both are super comfortable. My old stinger 2 did have a ear cup go out on me, but it lasted 1.5 years and I did drop it a bunch so that was most likely my fault.

I got the Hyper X Cloud Srunger 2. It mutes the mic when you put the microphone in up position.

low budget gamer here too, if mic bleed is the issue, go for a 3.5mm headset with a proper boom mic like HyperX Cloud Stinger or Razer BlackShark V2 X or even entry Turtle Beach models, they handle voice isolation much better than earphones.
