Have a logitech g933 that's still mint color. It just doesn't work like new.
+1 for the hd599. Bought them on a whim on a promo many years ago. I love how they sound. Ear pads needs to be replaced by now though. I use them when I'm alone or listening music, they're very comfortable. I do have a Logitech g933 for wireless and easy mic I can mute just by raising it. I only use them when talking or playing with other people. Not nearly as good as the hd599 in sound but they're ok for what I use them for. Being wireless is really convenient too.
I'm currently using a Logitech G933 but I thought they were broken a while ago so I did some research on what I'd like next. I ended up loving Razer's Black shark V2 pro. I find them very comfortable, the sound is great, has a ton of bells and whistles that are nice to have but what really caught my attention was mic quality. There's a lot of videos on yt comparing it, it seems another level against other brands or even against it's previous version. How durable is it, can't say.
I was Team G933 (that flipable microphone was the bee's knees for when I wanted to mute and/or eat food). When that got old, I got the G935. Wow, the downgrade in construction... It barely lasted a year before the leather fell apart and the audio started failing (I had to find JUST THE RIGHT SPOT for the on-switch to settle so everything would work, and that was finnacky at best). I knew I needed something new. I subjected myself to three different "gaming" headsets. None stood up to the audio quality I loved from the G933/935. Finally, I financially committed to the Maxwell. Fan-fricken-tastic. My only criticisms are the lack of the flipable mic and the heavy weight of the headset.
I've had a Logitech G933 for about 9 years, with the mic failing about 1 year ago. The G933 isn't sold anymore (unless you want to break the bank on a third party seller), but I believe the G733 and G735 are supposed to be similar. I haven't bought a new Logitech anything in at least 7 years, so I can't say their current items are durable, but their peripherals from 7 to 15 years ago just refuse to quit. I would hope they haven't had a massive dive in quality. My only real complaint about Logitech is their software.
I don't think it's the glasses, I think the issue is 20 dollar turtle beaches. I have both a hyper x cloud core and Logitech g933. Glasses aren't an issue with either set
After my Logitech G933s gave out after a decade, I moved over to the Arctis Nova Pros and couldn’t be happier. I’d been considering a pair of headphones, standalone mic and a DAC but my buddy talked me into the Arctis. I got them on sale for $250. The drivers will *occasionally* do something goofy with Windows 11 and I’ll need to set defaults again. And to be fair, I’m not sure if it’s not just Windows shitting the bed. Otherwise they are comfortable, (even better with wicked cushions upgrades imo) they sound great, the noise cancellation is excellent and the Discord crew say I sound pretty good from the other side. The noise cancelling is also *really* good; wife standing in the door giving me the evil eye or texting me instead good. The battery swap feature and multi device with wireless/BT are also nice features. The BT feature is also clever enough to mute other outputs if you take a call. Something to consider.
I work from home and have many zoom / Teams meetings. additionally I am an avid online Gamer. So I need a headset that will cover a WIDE variety of needs. For high quality audio Recording I have a completely different recording booth setup with an XLR mic (AT2035, scarlet 2i2 etc). So the mic only needs to be good enough on the headset for online gaming and business meetings. Previously I have had the Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum – Wireless and I am currently using the Logitech G Pro X Gaming Headset. the G933 was a very practical headset and I liked being able to walk away from my desk while remaining in communication. I had some small issues with the mute not always un muting working as expected. after a few years the headset starting having wear (used 6 or 7 days a week for 8 -10 hours a day so think it held up well). I replaced with my current Logitech G Pro X I had some software issues getting it setup but it works great and does everything I need. However it is also starting to wear, I already replaced the ear pads twice. And the volume control has now developed a quirk where the wheel in some positions switches to mono instead of stereo (loose connection?) I could replace the volume cable, however with the wear on the top of the head band and 5 years of use and thinking it may just be time to replace. Between the 2 headsets I think I prefer the feel and build of the Logitech Pro X (it also lasted much longer) I was looking at maybe going back to wireless for the convenience, one less wire to get caught on my chair and not standing up quickly forgetting to take my headset off and pulling the cable. So was looking at the Logitech G Pro X2... however I would really like a charging Dock that I can just hang the headset on when I leave the desk rather than having to actually plug a cable in. So am hoping with that info on preferences and experience people may have some recommendations. If I do go with the wireless pro x2 There seem to be threads on setting it up for good audio (https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/1b9e9kb/headset_pro_x_2_lightspeed_how_logitech_is/?share_id=EJKJmeBdodB7XWdYrizqb) However it doesn't seem to have or support a headset charging dock which I would definitely like. Thanks in advance!!
Thats why i recommended g933's, they wont be new, but sound amazing.
I'm kinda done with Logitech headphones. I've always had pairs of the wireless G9XX series but they just kind of suck compared to others
