Ive used the 1st Gen pro x for a couple of years now. The mic isn't the best out of the box, you can be heard clearly but it just doesn't sound quite right. This can be adjusted with software. The audio quality is lacking out of the box as well. I personally love Dolby Atmos but the headset doesn't support it, or rather Logitech's drivers lock you out of it. Change the drivers to generic USB audio. Then you can enable Atmos. But you lose the ability to adjust anything in the app. I like the leatherette, has good sound isolation for gaming, even with wearing glasses. Battery life is good. Lasts about 20 hours for me. Just plug it in when you're done gaming and you'll never have to worry about it dying. TLDR: after workarounds the headset sound quality is decent. But a product should be good out of the box. No work around needed
I bought the Logitech Pro X Lightspeed and the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. I ended up returning the Arctis. This was after I spent a week tweaking the equalizer settings, including downloading recommending settings and trying them out. To me, the Pro X blew the Arctis out of the water. It wasn't close. I mostly play COD.
Logitech G X Pro first or second generation. I have two Pro Wireless - the sound is okay/good, but they are extremely comfortable and have some good features like Blue Voice. Microphone quality is the biggest downside (the second generation has worse quality than the first). But note that the first generation of this headset does not have rotated headphone cups (at least the wireless ones did not, my friend found out the hard way).
I've gone back wired with Sennheiser for a while now but I really liked my Logitech Pro X Lightspeed.
Absolutely agree. Gaming marketed stuff is generally subpar or overpriced and can never compete with Sennheiser or Beyerdynamic on affordable quality. However if he's looking for a wireless headset for gaming, Logitech is a solid choice
I got my Maxwell 2 yesterday and after using a Logitech Pro X (Gen 1) for years. Honestly, I can't believe I've been missing this much audio. They're a little heavy, yeah. But get the strap with them and you're solid. 24 hours in and I'm absolutely loving them. Was worried I'd regret the purchase but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
I actually tested the latest gaming headsets i had (they were LG PRO X) on rdr2 and they were terrible, that's why I was a bit burned. However, the Nova Pros are quite expensive, I'm also looking for wired ones but honestly I wouldn't want to go over the €100 budget.
I've been through a lot of headphones, I would never buy Razor anything. Logitech G PRO X with Metal seems pretty tough and decent price, as for the sound quality.. I dunno, my ears are stuffed anyway, i just want something that lasts and is not made out of plastic. Also replaceable plugs on everything.
Goated choice, love those headphones, but mainly good for gaming though, but they are comfortable.
