If those are your only option I'd take either the Cloud Alpha or G Pro X, probably the Alpha as it is really comfortable. As other's have said though, none of these are particularly good. Unlike what others have said, there are good gamer brand headsets out there like the LucidSound LS50x, Logitech G Pro X 2, Astro A50, a few EPOS models. They're just generally overpriced. Like the G Pro X 2 is a really good $100 headphone with a $20 mic selling for $250. The LucidSounds are a bit pricy new but very cheap on the used market. The LS50x or the little brother LS35x can be found used for under $60 and $40 respectively and will beat anything on your list. Sennheiser Game One's can be found for under $60 and are another step higher, they're the headset version of the HD 598. In general, you can almost always buy a new headphone of equal or better quality + a desktop mic for a lot less money than a new headset. The main exception is the Audeze Maxwell which is frankly way better than standalone wireless headphones at its price. The PC38x is also competitively priced on sale, it's right between the HD 599 and HD 560S in quality.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Which one of these Gaming Headphone is the best? ->LucidSound LS35X. I bought these Jan 11, 2020 and it’s still kicking. I use them every day. I have only replaced the earpads once. I love the sound. The mic is detachable and the headset has a built in mic in case you don’t want to use the detachable mic. Detachable mic is of course a bit better since the boom is closer to your mouth. Volume is adjusted manually by easily turning rotating the outer metal ring on the left ear. Push in the large button on the left ear to mute/unmute sound or push the large button on right ear to mute/unmute your mic. Mic boom lights up red when muted. Wife loves it for this reason because she doesn’t like people to hear her talk to me, so she’ll ask me to mute, or if she sees I’m already muted she’ll just say what she needs. Best wireless I’ve ever owned. Looking at my order I originally paid $122 after taxes and seeing the price now at $70 makes me want to buy a second pair in case these ever do decide to crap out.
r/buildapc • What would be the best wireless gaming headset money can buy? ->Oh man, sorry but I realize I failed to mention I bought an Xbox usb dongle that they connect through on my pc
r/buildapc • What would be the best wireless gaming headset money can buy? ->I have been using for so long I forgot about the dongle
r/buildapc • What would be the best wireless gaming headset money can buy? ->So I got the new Xbox wireless headset, and I wanted to give some quick impressions because I don’t really see a lot of them online. BUILD QUALITY: the build feels very similar to the last one. So although I didn’t use the last one a lot because I didn’t like the mic quality, I’ve seen some pictures online that they get used up pretty fast. IMPROVED MIC: The mic quality seems way better. I put mine on without really telling my friends that I changed headsets and no one really complained about it. I wanted to see if the mic quality was lower so I played without actually telling anyone that I changed headsets. I don’t think anyone noticed that my headset was different and I think that’s a good thing. To be clear I used a lucid sound X 35 before. SOUND QUALITY: As far as sound quality, it sounds good, but you have to play with it. If you don’t adjust the equalizer settings, the headset out of the box quite frankly sounds terrible. Once you adjust the equalizer settings it sounds way better. I’m not sure why Xbox don’t have some pre-set equalizer settings for specific games. It seems like a pretty easy solution to me. As far as Dolby Atmos goes, I honestly can’t really tell a difference between my old one and this one. Make of that what you will. THE UGLY: The only downside I have for this headset honestly is that the sound even at the maximum is not very loud. Although that doesn’t really affect the game or voice, I like my sound a little louder sometimes and even the loudest option is just not very loud in my opinion. NOTABLE MENTION: Firmware update was easy to update but it took a while. Honestly like 10 minutes. Other than that, I can’t really complain about it. It definitely seems like an improvement over the last one. Edit: Also, the headset does have some pretty cool features like auto mute. I haven’t played with it a lot, but it seems to work well. There’s also a mute button on the mic for those who don’t want to use the auto mute feature. Edit2: for the equalizer setting I did this https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxone/s/FiAbmkpoyT Edit3: oh and important mention, it DOES NOT come with a charging wire. So you need to have one on hand, but I think it uses USB-C. I used one of my Apple wires and it worked on this.
r/xbox • My quick review of the new Xbox Wireless Headset. ->I would say try the lucidsound x35 if you can get them cheap. IMO they’re way better and I got them for cheaper.
r/xbox • My quick review of the new Xbox Wireless Headset. ->The lucidsound X35 are way better than these and you could probably get them cheaper.
r/xbox • My quick review of the new Xbox Wireless Headset. ->There are good Xbox headsets out there, this in my opinion, isn’t one of them. This one still feels cheap and the sound quite frankly after using it for a few months is really not all that great. I went back to my lucidSound x35 because they sound way better, and they were cheaper. I think Microsoft in general always think about cost cutting measures instead of making a really great product. For me, priority one on a headset is sound. It should be top notch, and I understand that this is not a high-end headset, but I’ve bought headsets for cheaper than this that sounded way better.
r/xbox • My quick review of the new Xbox Wireless Headset. ->I’m not sure to be honest. The original one I used it once and my friends immediately complained about my mic quality and I just never used them again. I sold it to a friend and I bought the lucid sound. It’s not very long but again, no one really complained about my mic quality when I was playing.
