Razer - Barracuda X (2021 Model)

I use the Razor Barracuda X. It’s lasted me a few years so far. Great quality mic and sound. $70 on Amazon.

I’d suggest for a ‘cheap’ option the razer barracuda x which has a super long battery life and super clear microphone, with cloth cups and great sound. The pricier option I’d say steelseries arctis nova pro, but they have pleather cups and a little shorter battery life, with excellent mic and sound as well. I’d avoid anything turtle beach nowadays as the whole lineup has gone to shit, and unfortunately both my friends with hyperx headsets have a ton of trouble with them, mic quality is crap as well sadly.

Could I recommend the razer barracuda x? I wear glasses too and the clamping force is actually so weak it'll fall off your head if you tilt back- if that's not a deal breaker for you

This better compared to cloud stinger which i also have. It will all boils done to your budget.

I have Razer Barracuda X and they are the best!

I was happy with my Barracuda X, but am nearing the same point of failure. One day the hinges started cracking and although they still haven't completely snapped yet, parts of the plastic fell off. Also they discontinued driver support for the headphones like 2 years after release. It's a shame, since I was really happy with the headphones - decent audio quality, removable mic, BT support, battery life.

True I haven't put thought into a stand alone mic, I ended up getting a razer barracuda X wireless just now but I think I might do some research and ask Santa for one that fits for me. I'll check out the HyperX quad cast though! Btw I had a pc before this and haven't been a console gamer for atleast 10 years but this is the very first time I've had this type of issue. I despise windows 11 so far but I had to upgrader sooner or later so I could use my HP Reverb G2 since they discontinued support for windows 10 recently.

I actually use the barracuda as my travel headphones! Its survived plenty of gym, flights, and every day use and it's perfectly fine. That being said i do know what you mean, its one unlucky accident from breaking for sure. However that being said i love them. I will recommend the barracuda, specifically the pro if you wanted noise cancelling!

Razer Barracuda X ang gamit ko. Ok naman quality ng mic, I used it during the pandemic days wherein online ang lahat and no issues whatsoever with the quality of the mic. The boom mic can also be detached, so if hindi ko need ng mic, inaalis ko lang sya.
