I went from Logitech G733 to the Razer Barracuda X Chroma and huge disappointment! I play call of duty and can’t hear footsteps with the Razer headphones. It’s like they tuned down a lot of settings. Also went into synapse and messed around to try to help but still very bad. Another with the Logitech software, there’s a portion where you can choose custom EQ presets made by people.. Which helps.. But all in all choose what’s best for you
r/razer • Better Option for PS5? ->Personally i recommend 7.1 surround headsets. But not virtual ones. For example i used razer chroma 7.1 for years. I can recommend that one but razer usually has hardware issues
r/ArcRaiders • Headphones Raccomendation for the best Arc Raiders experience ->Razer Barracuda X V2 + Siren Mini
r/flightsim • Quick survey: Which headphones (with mic) are you using with FS? ->Could I recommend the razer barracuda x? I wear glasses too and the clamping force is actually so weak it'll fall off your head if you tilt back- if that's not a deal breaker for you
r/Earbuds • The Best Earbuds for Gaming Today? ->Sa shoppee pasok sa budget mo. Buy only on legit store. Dun ko nabili sakin
r/PHbuildapc • Headset Recommendation 2025 (Wired or Wireless) ->This better compared to cloud stinger which i also have. It will all boils done to your budget.
r/PHbuildapc • Headset Recommendation 2025 (Wired or Wireless) ->I was happy with my Barracuda X, but am nearing the same point of failure. One day the hinges started cracking and although they still haven't completely snapped yet, parts of the plastic fell off. Also they discontinued driver support for the headphones like 2 years after release. It's a shame, since I was really happy with the headphones - decent audio quality, removable mic, BT support, battery life.
r/razer • Stay away from Blackshark Razer wireless headsets ->True I haven't put thought into a stand alone mic, I ended up getting a razer barracuda X wireless just now but I think I might do some research and ask Santa for one that fits for me. I'll check out the HyperX quad cast though! Btw I had a pc before this and haven't been a console gamer for atleast 10 years but this is the very first time I've had this type of issue. I despise windows 11 so far but I had to upgrader sooner or later so I could use my HP Reverb G2 since they discontinued support for windows 10 recently.
r/pcmasterrace • Advice for best budget friendly over the ear wireless headset ->Razer Barracuda X I have it for almost 2 years na and it's still amazing as before
r/PHbuildapc • 5000 pesos budget headphones ->I know it's not a budget one however the barracuda x is one of my favorites and always has been I use it on my PC my PS5 my switch and my phone and I have both versions true Bluetooth and the dongle version
r/playstation • I need a new budget headset ->I don't know many headphones, but I can assure you that I wouldn't recommend the Razer Barracuda X. The sound is rather bad, and at least the ones I had, the microphone was somewhat deficient; they would be problematic for gaming.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Better headset for gaming w decent mic? ->Yeah, some older JBL speakers from an acquaintance sounded better and were cheaper XD, I hope you find some good ones but those, at least I, don't really recommend them.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Better headset for gaming w decent mic? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
