I have the Black Shark V2 Pro 2020… Its been 5 Years And it still doing great! Just have to change the ear pads and put a little upgrade Type B into Type C micro dongle, I Have no reason to upgrade to a newer version. https://preview.redd.it/fm1stu01bkuf1.png?width=2538&format=png&auto=webp&s=f11442b46d2b90cc3d6b2c7e64839b4dfddc511e

Best gaming headphone I’ve ever owned. Just need to change the ear pads due wear and tear and add a Type B to Type C Micro dongle.
I own the BlackShark V2 Pro 2020, V2 Pro 2023 and V3 Pro 2025. Some key differences are from the 2023 to 2025 is.. * 25\* rotation hinge, redundant in my opinion. * Thicker adjustment rods. * Stronger hinges. * Bio Cellulose vs Titanium Drivers. * 50g heavier (370 vs 320) * Has ANC (More like ANQuietening) * Easier accessable battery 1200mah, you can swap this out potentially for an even larger one at 2,000mah with very minor modifications possibly none at all which is cool. * Face plates can be swapped which is kind of redundant to me. * Microphone is somewhat similar in performance if not better thanks to firmware update. I really like the V3's however what worries me if you can't wash the entire earmuffs, the padding on top of the driver is actually a dampener that is adhered to the driver face. The V2's and V3's both sound amazing, I use an EQ that boosts highs and bass as that's what I really like. The sound is more neutral with the V3's for my preferred EQ overall and the bass signature is very well balanced and doesn't take away any clarity. It's clear, punchy and other sound sources remain destinct. It takes some getting used to the V3's if you're used to the V2's however, the V2's are more 'fun' but if you give it time you'll possibly prefer the V3's a lot more. For $100 I say fuck it and resell them if you don't like them. Battery Life you can use these headphones for I'd say 4-5 hours a day for a whole week no problem. Worrying about charge however is redundant because it has quickcharge, you can just hook them on for 10 mins and it'll last for 3-4 hours in a pinch. The ANC sucks though which is why I call it Active Noise Quietening (ANQ) and recommend only level 3 if you want. The earcushions for me were too stiff and I had to soften them with my fingers for a bit, I also stretched out the headband as the clamping force was a bit much, it giving me headaches a lot but it's alright now. The Bio Cellulose certainly sound different though, much more clean in my opinion. Takes some getting used to with the sound signature that's for sure. One small issue I currently experience is the voice/game volume wheel isnt stepping, and freespins when it shouldn't. Manufacturing defect it seems. Below is earcup difference. ( I should've flipped the V3 one to show the clip circle, oh well. They're a bitch to get off.. ) https://preview.redd.it/c9wh5ezj6ggg1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fc12bb2d9d8092c56695d824240c7f0829f2b132 TLDR: For $100 just get them and if you don't like them sell them.
I use black shark v2 pro. No issues
razer headsets are comfortable and durable sound quality is shit though. i have used my black shark v2 pro 14 hours a day 7 days a week for about 6 years now throwing it on my desk regularly and its basically perfect still without issues only replacing it because i hate the sound. i have replaced the earpad/cushion just 1 time.
I have this headset, and I absolutely LOVE it, though the mic quality isn't great, the sound design is phenomenal
I'm not a big Razor fan, but my Blackshark V2 pro is great, the only gripe is that it has a micro USB charging port. I super glued a magnetic charger into the port and I just use that now and it's working very well. Sound quality is good but not astounding, I don't notice any lag and they are very comfortable for long sessions.
