razer blackshark v2x usb, fyi it's not that great i had to manually boost the mic volume coz out of the box it sucked, and it's very bassy out of the box you need to equilize it and feels tight and hurt your ears over time
As a person who has been using IEMs for everything, i would recommend getting IEMs as they provide much better audio quality in this price range. Personally, i feel like headphones are bulky and makes my head ache after using for a much longer period of time, hence shifted to IEMs. Trust me, even if you invest 3k in an IEM, the quality difference you would feel will be insane. Also while gaming, the left and right audio seperqtion is god tier. I have used razer blackshark but was disappointed as it did not have that much clear audio seperation in comparison to the IEMs which i have been using.
No problem, it might not suite you for long sessions as it did me and that's fine. In that case, i would suggest going for blackshark USB Wired version then. They seem to have 7.1 surround sound which will help in left and right audio seperation in games. Although for FPS shooters, this feature is valuable but if you are a casual story game player then you can get the other blackshark version as well which is a little cheaper. What games do you play though?
I feel the same buddy I was using redgear cosmo 7.1 earlier with eq settings and all it's 7.1 channel se so good. And now I bought a v2x usb version and after getting this shit I got to know that these people not giving even a eq support from their software. As compare to redgear 7 1 was far better for sure
Using Blackshark v2x since past 3-4 months. Absolutely the best gaming headphones I have used. Wires are not thin. The band supporting the cushion area looks thin, but if not used too roughly, it will sustain. Sound quality is good for gaming/movies/songs. just dont use the razer surround sound, it totally sucks.
Well I got my stepson the razer blackshark v2s and he really likes them. They're great for positional audio for FPS's. But I just use my hd599s because I love how open back sounds, and I have a boom mic attachment for online gaming
Love my V2s, good sound quality, build quality seems fine
