Go for the [RAZER BlackShark V2 X Wired ](https://elitehubs.com/products/razer-blackshark-v2-x-green) its one of the best in its price range.
Razer Blackshark v2 X hyperspeed, i can never go back to wired headset now.
As far as headsets over $20 goes, I have used Razer Blackshark 2 (horrendous headset - do not recommend), Logitech G5, and Turtle Beach Stealth 600. I found that they all caused neck soreness after like an hour and excessive sweating after 20ish minutes. Now I just use earbuds. The most comfortable earbuds that I have found so are the Raycon fitness earbuds. I often forget I'm even wearing them until they power off from lack of use or the battery starts to die.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CXGL6G6N?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share You are welcome Literally tried every major brand, and lesser known ones, to find the best headset. After 10 or so years of trying every damn headset variation I could, from whatever company had a solid deal on them. The headset I linked before is hands down the best in all the categories I look for - Comfort Battery Life Connection Stability Background Tech and it's ease of use and practicality Comparability with multiple devices. The razor black shark 2 is it for me. Steel series headsets are my 2nd choice.
low budget gamer here too, if mic bleed is the issue, go for a 3.5mm headset with a proper boom mic like HyperX Cloud Stinger or Razer BlackShark V2 X or even entry Turtle Beach models, they handle voice isolation much better than earphones.
i ave one of these and though its built well the microphone is bipolar. Some how it is both too senstive but not sensitive enough. It can pick me up breathing lightly yet it cant pick me up laughing
