Razer BlackShark V3 - best value for PC‑focused, competitive gaming. HyperX Cloud Alpha (wired) - another good option Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 3 (wireless) - low latency, long battery life Corsair HS55 Stereo (wired) - cheaper option
The Razer BlackShark v3 is really good.
razer blackshark v3 are my new ones i really like. 150 new
Razer BlackShark V3 good there (also had update for microphone and sound great). You got a good pair so you enjoy it, just get some wicked cushions if you do t have it already, it really gives that extra comfort. Fractal is an odd one out as it is one I would use over Audeze most of the time and same I could say with nova pro. The price is just insane, so my top 3 ones are in gaming category fractal, Razer V3 pro and the SS elite but with extra cushions, Audeze as a 4th and the Astro 5th. I would stick with top 3 ones here personally and your elite looks nice too, looks better go out listen too music as example. Audeze overrated I think but like I say we are individuals, ain’t a number 1 or 2 for me.
The pulse elites are not good, if you have an above average size head and ears it's extremely uncomfortable to wear for longer than an hour. Also the 40mm drivers aren't as good as other headsets using 50mm drivers in the same price range. They a flimsy plastic garbage if you ask me. The Razor Blacksharks were extremely comfortable to use compared to the pulse elites. Better material and ergonomics. Also sounded a lot better because of the bigger 50mm drivers. I'd recommend the Blackshark v3's
I’m so tired of these audiophile dorks commenting on every fucking gaming headset question. I’ve had sennheiser hd 490 pros, beyerdynamic DT 900 pro Xs, sennheiser hd 560s and guess what i still use a gaming headset. Nothing better than a wireless headset with a good mic. The Razer BlackShark v3 has good sound is it as good as the studio headphones no, does it track footsteps better than studio headphones yes.
New Razer headphones have zero RGB and good sound. Like i said earlier i do own nice headphones. They do sound better but not by much. So i use the razer blacksharks bc they are wireless and i dont need a standalone mic
I’m talking in general for the game/chat mix and microphone. Most people play games with their friends. I have sennheisers hd490 pros for music production and i can promise you the footstep audio and directionality on my blacksharks is better than the sennheisers. And immersion is important too for single player games. Open backs are terrible for it bc you can hear things going on in your house, immersion also factors in things like booming explosions and full sounding gunshots. Sennheisers are very neutral. The 490 pros have some good bass so they are pretty good for immersion but i still prefer the blacksharks for gaming.
The BlackShark sounds way better than the nova pros btw
