Hello. Im looking for gaming headset that actually f'ing works. Right now im using my Razer Kraken Ultimate, they have 5 years, the cable is wide open in many places, and i can hear more on the left than the right. They were "fine" for the past 5 years but it's time to replace them since they have not a lot of life left in them. I also do realise that Razer headphones are more about the brand than the sound itself. I got myself Steelseries Arctis nova pro X today, and already have to return them, they arent very comfortable around the ears (thats the least annoying part) But the microphone is absolutely garbage, or maybe i got a faulty one? (a lot of people complained on it) Anyways nobody can hear me, i can play with settings all day long and it wont help, im also not really into having extra program or 2 on my PC just so others can barely hear me. Call me old timed or stupid, but i prefer wired headsets, i was thinking about steelseries nova 7, but they only come in wireless. (and its again steelseries with their microphones) What else could you guys recommend me? (If anything) Im mainly looking for good headset (mostly FPS games) with microphone that works, i do not expect the microphone to be top tier, i just want others to hear me speak. Budget would be around 220 Euros, max 250 if the headset is absolutely worth its price.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Good gaming headsets with actual working mic? ->And mine was just a Razer Ultimate edition . Sad to say I don’t have the kitty 🐱. Mine have been going strong for three years and I’m pretty sure they are a refurbished set.
r/gamingpc • Best pc gaming headset ->Usually none, but when I do it's either the Raycon Everyday earbuds (the Impact ones are best) or my Razer Kraken Bro (I think). It's one of PewDiePie's branded headphones from ten years ago but it's still good.
r/SteamDeck • What headphones do you use? ->I like the razer wired kraken with the mic that lights up when it is muted.
r/GirlGamers • What headset would you recommend? ->I have razer kraken wired version bc tbh I can't hear the difference between something like that and the audiophile headphones. I turned off the bass boost and it sounds great to me for what I need it for - game audio and being in voice with my friends - and I like a built in mic instead of a desktop stand mic. Background isolation seems good as it doesn't transmit my bf talking in the same room. Comfy enough to wear for 8 hours at a time also, but I dont wear glasses so if you do can't vouch for that.
r/pcmasterrace • Best wired gaming headphones? ->If you want it to work on both, you'll need a wired one. Xbox has its on proprietary wireless connection and the PS5 ones just use a 2.5 GHZ dongle. Both the Kraken and BlackShark come in wired versions. The Kiara might also, but I think the Kiara is the less expensive model. I found the BlackShark to be more comfortable as the Kraken is kind of heavy, but the Kraken sounds better to me.
r/razer • Best Razer Gaming Headset for Xbox and Playstation? ->I used razer kraken for years and was pretty happy with them, very comfy too However if you want really good audio get some seinheissers and a separate mic for chatting, non gaming headphones are way better quality and value for money, but often don't have a microphone
r/gamers • What brand of gaming headset is the best? ->I always use Razer Kraken, last me years
r/Gamer • gaming headset under £50 ->Been using the Razer Kraken headset for years now and it's pretty good.
r/buildapc • What's the Best Wireless Gaming Headset in Your Opinion? ->Razor Kraken is good Edit: whatever you can't win on Reddit I give up. Every post I try to post I'm not allowed to talk in the comments because of bad karma and the ones that I am allowed to talk in everybody always gives me negative reviews no matter what I say. I'm sorry I can't afford beats by Dre but if you're looking in the $50 tier The kraken is a good headset I've owned one now for over 2 years and it's just fine for playing call of duty it has good base and good quality microphone but yeah if you're going to compare it to some $400 headset probably not
r/pcmasterrace • Another „Gaming Headset“ bites the dust, tired of overpriced/hyped headphones. ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
