Razer Kraken 3. I can’t imagine using another headset now. The haptic feedback brings games to life !
r/HeadphoneAdvice • What is The Best Gaming Headphones in 2025? ->I tried Cloud 3 , razer blackshark v2 pros, and razer Krakens with hypersense. I went with the Razer Krakens.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best $150 Gaming Headphones ->Did you happen to use any previous haptic headsets to compare ? I have the Nari ultimate, the krakenv3 wired and love them still also the ps5 ones , Kaira Pro , but always found them on the weak side of haptics as well as light on the volume, so i use them but not that often, when I used the nari or the kraken I get into the games, the immersion extra level it adds i just love, crank up Wreckfest and go to town .. on ps5 it just adds a nice little extra but nowhere near the same level . Only just saw these came out and found out they work on ps5 too ... so curious how they compare haptically speaking to prior models ... Also love the bluetooth option for playing on rog ally without needing to use a usb dongle...
r/razer • Razer Kraken v4 pro review ->Ive had some trash luck with headsets. But here we go: Corsair HS80 has been my favorite so far. Good sound, loud, decent surround with dolby atmos. Floating headband not for everyone but I find it comfy. Razer Kraken v3 pro, the hypersense is fun, but the battery life is pitiful and my synapse would never recognize it. Razer Blackshark 2023 pro. Comfy, ok sound, not loud enough for me. Steelseries Arctis 5. Sonar can step on a pile of D4s and legos. Headset sounds good, software just too annoying for my liking. Would constantly change my non headset sound settings. Turtle Beach Atlas Air. A rare open back wireless headset. Sounds great, also software issues. If I went to change the volume it'd go from 0 to 100 or 100 to 0. couldn't get that to change. Would do it if I set it in windows or on the headset. If they'd all work perfect, The turtle beach sounded best to me. HS80 is a close second. Decent mic on it, would recommend a desktop mic if you're worried about that though.
r/buildapc • What's the Best Wireless Gaming Headset in Your Opinion? ->I've tried and have (almost?) all currently available haptics headsets, here's my two cents: >**Razer Kraken v3 haptic/ pro if you want wireless/**: The kraken v3 is alright. Worse haptics than the nari in my opinion. If you go for them I'd get the wired version over the wireless. The wireless has the most annoying low battery notification on the planet - it beeps at you every single minute when the battery is low (25% i think) which is unbearable for me. >**Razer Nari Ultimate (if you want wireless and can get it in good condition second hand)**: The nari is still the best thing I've ever used in terms of comfort. The sound quality and the battery life are pretty meh. Fortunately there are tutorials on how to replace/upgrade the battery. I bought them on launch, sold them a year later because I decided to get rid of all my razer peripherals, bought it again second hand on amazon in 2023, because it is just so good, lol. >**Corsair HS60 Haptic if you want wired, but not razer:** The HS60 is alright. Probably a bit better sound quality than the kraken v3 and nari. Nothing to write home about though. You gotta customize your EQ in iCUE if you go for it though, the flat EQ is horrible, as is on all the others I mentioned, lol. >**Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2:** If you want bluetooth (latency is noticeable during games so it's only good for youtube/music), you can use it wired for gaming (still have to turn it on for the haptics). It is my bluetooth go-to for the gym. Good battery life, alright audio quality and massive haptics. I also use it on my PC (via bluetooth) sometimes when I listen to music and I don't want to drain the Nari. If you don't want wireless I'd honestly go for whatever is the cheapest. I can't tell you anything about the microphones on these headsets as I have a dedicated mic I use. Ps. I've also tried the Kraken v4 pro in a razer store and they felt quite heavy, but with good build quality. The audio and haptics were alright for the short period of time I could use it, but the haptics options in synapse 4 made no noticeable difference to me. Probably gonna have to cough a few hundred $ and buy it to test further, but god damn it's stupidly overpriced. And I'll probably still like it less than the nari lol. Good luck.
r/razer • Best headset for haptics? ->Using Razer kraken 7.1 since 2021. It has a cold gel ear cushion & mostly I use it for long sessions because of gaming & sound enhancement. Except the leather everything is pretty fine & still works perfectly. I don't know much about Logitech but you can go with the hyperx series if it comes under 5k. The only downside is it doesn't have a retractable mic ( cloud stinger x ) which can be pretty annoying if you want a clean headphone look Sennheiser hd400s is under 5k now. It has a pretty decent sound range also, So you can check that out too.
r/Indiangamers • Looking for gaming headphone recommendations under ₹5k - Current Redgear Cosmo 7.1 user ->Don't get the usb version.. the type is prone to break easily.. also the driver size is small ( around 40 mm) Instead try to get the kraken v3 which has 50mm driver size which can deliver better sound quality , mic quality & also support spatial audio support. The cable is braided. Also it comes with a usb A version & you can get a dongle for around 250 if you wanna use it on your phone or any tablet you have. Also you can easily detach the microphone from the headphone if you want a clean look.
r/Indiangamers • Looking for gaming headphone recommendations under ₹5k - Current Redgear Cosmo 7.1 user ->I like the razer wired kraken with the mic that lights up when it is muted.
r/GirlGamers • What headset would you recommend? ->I have razer kraken wired version bc tbh I can't hear the difference between something like that and the audiophile headphones. I turned off the bass boost and it sounds great to me for what I need it for - game audio and being in voice with my friends - and I like a built in mic instead of a desktop stand mic. Background isolation seems good as it doesn't transmit my bf talking in the same room. Comfy enough to wear for 8 hours at a time also, but I dont wear glasses so if you do can't vouch for that.
r/pcmasterrace • Best wired gaming headphones? ->If you want it to work on both, you'll need a wired one. Xbox has its on proprietary wireless connection and the PS5 ones just use a 2.5 GHZ dongle. Both the Kraken and BlackShark come in wired versions. The Kiara might also, but I think the Kiara is the less expensive model. I found the BlackShark to be more comfortable as the Kraken is kind of heavy, but the Kraken sounds better to me.
r/razer • Best Razer Gaming Headset for Xbox and Playstation? ->I used razer kraken for years and was pretty happy with them, very comfy too However if you want really good audio get some seinheissers and a separate mic for chatting, non gaming headphones are way better quality and value for money, but often don't have a microphone
r/gamers • What brand of gaming headset is the best? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
