That’s unfortunate. I know that’s a popular choice. I’ve been using Razer Krakens for years. Recently got the V4 X and it’s solid, again.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best gaming headphones with a GOOD mic? ->Currently, I use the Razer Kraken V4. It's wireless with either 2.4 Ghz USB-C dongle or Bluetooth. it can also be used with a wired connection, which simultaneously charges it. There is a cheaper option in Razer Kraken V4X, which is a solely wired version. I've both headsets and have had no issues with either. I also quite like the Blackshark V2 Pro. The mic is noticeably better on the Blackshark vs the Krakens, in my experience. However, the mic on the Krakens I own is retractable, which is a big selling point for me. My first ever headset was the Razer Kitty Kraken. Honestly loved it to bits, especially customising the cat ears' RGB, so I can also recommend it if you want something cute. It comes in black, white and pink versions. I'm not sure if the other Razer headsets do, but I absolutely know for certain the Kitty Kraken does! In the past, I've also used Steelseries Arctis 1 and Arctis 5. Both were serviceable, but I feel as though the audio was tinny. The only reason I bring these up two up is because Razer products can be quite expensive, and Steelseries options are affordable whilst still offering similar features (wireless, wired, Bluetooth, detachable and/or retractable mic, etc...) whilst being cheaper. They are also much lighter on ear/in general compared to the Razer headsets. Hope this helps! Would love to know what you go for!

r/GirlGamers • What headset would you recommend? ->I took care of my razor kraken v4 as best I could and they still broke exactly like this. I am Now a huge fan of Beyerdynamic. Seriously I’m not buy razor products again even the mouse scroll wheel doesn’t work after a year
r/razer • Stay away from Blackshark Razer wireless headsets ->I like the razer wired kraken with the mic that lights up when it is muted.
r/GirlGamers • What headset would you recommend? ->I have razer kraken wired version bc tbh I can't hear the difference between something like that and the audiophile headphones. I turned off the bass boost and it sounds great to me for what I need it for - game audio and being in voice with my friends - and I like a built in mic instead of a desktop stand mic. Background isolation seems good as it doesn't transmit my bf talking in the same room. Comfy enough to wear for 8 hours at a time also, but I dont wear glasses so if you do can't vouch for that.
r/pcmasterrace • Best wired gaming headphones? ->If you want it to work on both, you'll need a wired one. Xbox has its on proprietary wireless connection and the PS5 ones just use a 2.5 GHZ dongle. Both the Kraken and BlackShark come in wired versions. The Kiara might also, but I think the Kiara is the less expensive model. I found the BlackShark to be more comfortable as the Kraken is kind of heavy, but the Kraken sounds better to me.
r/razer • Best Razer Gaming Headset for Xbox and Playstation? ->I used razer kraken for years and was pretty happy with them, very comfy too However if you want really good audio get some seinheissers and a separate mic for chatting, non gaming headphones are way better quality and value for money, but often don't have a microphone
r/gamers • What brand of gaming headset is the best? ->I always use Razer Kraken, last me years
r/Gamer • gaming headset under £50 ->Been using the Razer Kraken headset for years now and it's pretty good.
r/buildapc • What's the Best Wireless Gaming Headset in Your Opinion? ->Razor Kraken is good Edit: whatever you can't win on Reddit I give up. Every post I try to post I'm not allowed to talk in the comments because of bad karma and the ones that I am allowed to talk in everybody always gives me negative reviews no matter what I say. I'm sorry I can't afford beats by Dre but if you're looking in the $50 tier The kraken is a good headset I've owned one now for over 2 years and it's just fine for playing call of duty it has good base and good quality microphone but yeah if you're going to compare it to some $400 headset probably not
r/pcmasterrace • Another „Gaming Headset“ bites the dust, tired of overpriced/hyped headphones. ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
