Razer - Razer Kraken X

Steel series arctic nova pro wireless. I got different earcups as I heard they can be uncomfortable with the standard. Overall, I’m happy. I do like that I can put two wired inputs into the base station, and that it comes with two batteries and a battery charger built into the bases station. I’ve had some issues with the software, but I’ve been able to resolve. Previously I had a Razer kraken x. Just no. It was alright, comfy and lightweight, but the Razer software is cancer.

Razer Kraken X. Cost you about £40-50 and are perfect for the job. They're wired though, I know a lot of people have an issue with that, but I personally prefer having one less device to charge up.

Im still using my razer kraken essentials. Love the wireless aspect. Sound quality is decent enough. Bass thumps and the battery life lasts me more than 10 hours. Although when im playing competitive shooters like rust ill pop in my iems.

I like the razer wired kraken with the mic that lights up when it is muted.

I have razer kraken wired version bc tbh I can't hear the difference between something like that and the audiophile headphones. I turned off the bass boost and it sounds great to me for what I need it for - game audio and being in voice with my friends - and I like a built in mic instead of a desktop stand mic. Background isolation seems good as it doesn't transmit my bf talking in the same room. Comfy enough to wear for 8 hours at a time also, but I dont wear glasses so if you do can't vouch for that.

If you want it to work on both, you'll need a wired one. Xbox has its on proprietary wireless connection and the PS5 ones just use a 2.5 GHZ dongle. Both the Kraken and BlackShark come in wired versions. The Kiara might also, but I think the Kiara is the less expensive model. I found the BlackShark to be more comfortable as the Kraken is kind of heavy, but the Kraken sounds better to me.

I used razer kraken for years and was pretty happy with them, very comfy too However if you want really good audio get some seinheissers and a separate mic for chatting, non gaming headphones are way better quality and value for money, but often don't have a microphone

Every post I try to post I'm not allowed to talk in the comments because of bad karma and the ones that I am allowed to talk in everybody always gives me negative reviews no matter what I say. I'm sorry I can't afford beats by Dre but if you're looking in the $50 tier The kraken is a good headset I've owned one now for over 2 years and it's just fine for playing call of duty it has good base and good quality microphone but yeah if you're going to compare it to some $400 headset probably not
