Im still using my razer kraken essentials. Love the wireless aspect. Sound quality is decent enough. Bass thumps and the battery life lasts me more than 10 hours. Although when im playing competitive shooters like rust ill pop in my iems.

But DO NOT double up on spatial surround. Most brands have their own active surround sound (5.1/7/1), if you use this AND Dolby Access..........it'll sound super wrong
r/buildapc • Best Wireless Gaming Headset Worth Buying Today ->Yeah the generic 'enhancement' driver is rubbish, disable ALL of those effects and just customise EITHER your Dolby Access app OR use the hardware Surround Sound 7.1 that most headsets come with. I believe if you use the Corsair ICUE app you can customise through there anyway (I bought the same headset as you for a instant replacement for when my Razer Kraken dies)
r/buildapc • Best Wireless Gaming Headset Worth Buying Today ->It is and I like that it operates very much the same as the Razer Kraken in that whilst the Corsair can deliver 24-Bit/96k sound (USB mode only), which is slightly better than the Razer...........you can still have 16-Bit/96k over wireless which is more than MOST people will ever need
