It’s the most I’ll ever pay for a headset so I hope it lasts many years, but they are certainly worth it. I just changed the ear cups over to wickid cushion ones (just standard nothing fancy) and that made it perfect. I only play Call of Duty and used to have the RIG 800Hx (if I remember correctly) when I was on Xbox (they’re alright), moved over to PC, saw one shop had the nova wireless pro for $500 (Aussie) and knew they usually sit around $750 so grabbed them and glad I did. Sound is just crisper and more in-depth, footsteps are easily heard and in what direction they are. Sonar is fun for playing with different presets. All in all, I’m glad I had the money when I did.

I run a set of rig 800 pro Hx with Dolby Atmos running. I can hear everything and they’re amazing with directional sound. Some of the best sounding drivers I’ve ever heard in a headset. The mic does leave a bit to be desired but it’s still very clear and crisp. But the sound quality of the drivers is where these really shine.

Might I suggest the rig 800 pro? Quite a bit cheaper than these options, and I love mine.

I have a Rig 800 that I've had for 11 years. It's very comfortable and sounds incredible.

I use a Rig 850. It's very comfortable and the battery is about 24 hours

I've got Rig 800's that are 5 years old. The down-side is that they aren't Bluetooth, so you have to live with a dongle, but they're pretty sturdy, and the frame could probably be replaced.
