If it’s only a good headset for overall gaming. Any top five or top 5 YouTube recommendations. But if you focus on footsteps for fps, it’s a hard time finding one. I got pulse 3d, turtle beach 600 gen 2, cloud x 3 and Logitech 300 family. The best one of these for footsteps was the turtle beach, but the microphone is garbage, it keeps getting any background noise, don’t know the gen 3 if they fixed that issue. I updated the firmware but is useless. The second best one of these four options for footsteps for me is the cloud X 3. But for overall gaming any one.

Just go with the 3D Pulse, they're cheap and have great audio. Have had mine since launch and no issues.

Been rocking the Sony Pulse 3D for the last 3 years I’ve had my PS5 and I’ve loved them. Swapped out the factory ear pads for a set of more comfortable cooling ones and never had an issue with comfort. I’m not deep in the audio world so they personally sound great.

I have the Pulse 3D headset, and using that to play Dead Space was incredible. And terrifying

I have the Pulse 3d and i'm debating whether or not to return it and upgrade to a Pulse Elite. These headphones hurt the tips of my ear a lot after awhile on

The pressure on the nose is because the GC holds the back of the headband up too high (it's why I switched to Devaso, although I use the Pulse 3D for my headphones). You are wearing the Elite under the PSVR2, right?

i wouldn't call them phenomenal. I got the Pulse 3D and a pair of Audeze Maxwell and a quick test in Gran Tourismo 7 made me realize HOW BIG OF A DIFFERENCE the Maxwell is. Sound is crap on Pulse compared to the Maxwell. The Pulse 3D are light and comfy though, that's why i use them too.

I always felt like taking off the audio headset first was natural. Like if someone talks to me and i just need to discuss something, i can take off my pulse 3d or audeze, hang em around my neck and talk. Sidetone is viable too though. I kinda want to get the Pulse Elite due to their dual device connectivity, like having a phone connected to it and simultaneously playing on the PS5, not just for VR but in general. That's more of a usecase for my son, since he just blasts his smartphone on speaker when he plays with friends (not everyone got access to a headset for ingame voice due to different plattforms (nintendo, playstation etc). I already own a bunch of good headphones and getting yet another one is what i currently can't justify, although i do like the idea of hanging up the Pulse Elite onto that charging holder and never having to care about charging manually. I do have a bigger head so i don't know how well the Pulse Elite might fit it. The Pulse 3D fits well and my Audeze Maxwell does too, although it gets a bit finnicky if i use the Maxwell with the PSVR2. I have got wicked cushion earpads on both though.

stock inear, pulse 3d or audeze maxwell. the inears are the easiest and pulse 3d is comfy but audeze maxwell sounds the best although it adds further to the weight on your head. you could replace the silicone tips on the stock in ears with something more fitting and get a better experience though.

Same here. Got them at launch. Not the elite version.
