I agree completely, I got mine a week ago and I am so happy with them. I had SteelSeries Arctis 7+which absolutely sucked, terrible fit and super uncomfortable plus their software is garbage. I also had Sennheiser GSP600's and the Game Zero's which were better but completely blown out of the water by the HD560's. I paired mine with the BAM500 mic which is great but the cable is very short so I would suggest an extension if you get this. My ability to hear people in game has changed completely, distance as well as direction. My mate was joking last night that I must be using hacks as I could simply tell where people were like never before. He retracted that after I whiffed every spray and just died anyway.

Got my first Steelseries headphones around 2016, served me well until last year. It still works perfectly only the leather started to scrapping and the cat chewed the microphone (still works tho!). Bought a new Arctis 7+ wireless and I love it. Battery life and wireless range is almost unbelievable, sounds great, comfy. This is one of their cheapest headphones so I guess the expensive ones are even better. The only thing I don't like is the GG software but it's not a big deal.

Understand that a huge part of the cost of a gaming headset is spent on things that have nothing to do with the audio quality. If you don't need a mic or even wireless, a gaming headset is kind of a waste. You can get the Fiio FT1 for $160 (my personal fav) or pretty much anything made by Sennheiser under $300 and they will sound better and probably be more comfortable. I'm also a big fan of the Sony MDR-M1 but I seem to be in minority on that one. That said, the older Arctis Pro/7+ is excellent and I still prefer them to the Nova series. I really don't like what they did with the headband and wish they would go back to the old fabric style. I don't do much co-op gaming so I generally use a good pair of regular headphones unless I need the other features.

I'm quite happy with my SteelSeries Arctis 7+, so much so I got a second pair after breaking the first one because they were so comfortable I could sleep with them and the weight of my dumb head broke one of the hinges, lmao. The battery lasts a stupid long time, the audio quality is great, both for the headphones and the mic, the game-chat mix is awesome and have I mentioned how comfortable they are?

The headphones I have been using up until now are the SteelSeries Arctis 7+ wireless headphones.

From what I've heard from others supposedly these earphones aren't that great compared to other high end headphones or the pulse elites for example. But idk I think they're phenomenal. I've been using the Arctis 7+ headphones from Steelseries and the earphones honestly sound way better.
