"Have run 3 half's and 2 fulls, never have ran out of battery provided they are properly charged beforehand."

"I use it for the same reasons and love it. ... I would not consider the regular Apple Watch because of battery life."

"the battery life easily lasts 10+ hours."

"I effing love my Steelseries Arctis 7 headset. ... The two separate audio streams for chat and game are amazing. ... Best feature ever"

"That extra wheel to balance voice chat and other sounds is such a good idea."

"I decided to go with the SteelSeries Arctis 7 when I needed a headset that could handle both game audio and chat."

"My core instant tent went through damn near hurricane storms and not even a drip."

"My two Winix units are 11 years old with 24/7 use and still going strong!"

"Winix makes a quality product. ... I have one that’s run basically non stop for almost a decade."

"The headset would randomly restart, disconnect from the base and cause a loud distrotion sound to come across until I BOTH powered down the headset AND disconnected the USB cable from the back of the hub. Pair that with the headset just randomly disconnecting at times (typically when critical to HAVE it) and you have a recipe for disaster."

"Getting up between game sessions to go downstairs, the headphones would do loud, awful "pops" and "cracks" in your ear, probably well into harmful decibel levels."

"The main problem I have with them though is just the random problems that happen every now and then. ... the problems are always something really annoying like a really loud buzzing or just flat out the audio stops working. ... it's just small problems that shouldn't even happen that make them quite annoying to use sometimes."

The Arctis ones do it with a cool little dedicated box where you can also control other things. I had some years ago and it was a very handy feature...though yes, windows now does much better, channel-based volume control. Still not as cool as a dial on a box though :)

Arc Steel Series is another solid option. I have a wireless one I purchased for $100 two years ago and haven’t had a single problem. Crisp, clear audio and super comfortable too.

Ergonomic, lightweight. Thanks to the spare battery, you don't have to worry about the charge level. And this is now becoming a must-have feature. ChatMix is one of the reasons I chose SS in the first place. It's definitely worth using and is a high-quality product. I've praised it so much, but of course it has its flaws: In the previous series (my previous headset was the Arctis 9), the ChatMix feature was built into the hardware, but now it forces you to use the Sonar software. The GG can be frustrating when it occasionally becomes unstable. It would have been much easier to charge and remove the backup battery from the charging unit inside the DAC.

Don't get Arctis ones as they don't fit properly over the headset. Shame because they're my preferred ones.

Dunno what headsets you've been using but I'm on my 3rd SteelSeries headset since I've been buying them since 2015. First pair I bought which is the Siberia v2s (iirc) are still working beautifully and I use them with my PS5 when I travel for work. My second pair is an arctis wireless pair, forget the model, but they only got replaced because I was given my current ones as a Christmas present. Zero issues ever.

I really like my Arctis 9 headset. It appears they aren't available anymore - I imagine the Nova Pro would be a great choice.
