I've heard that the steelseries have a more stable connection and dont drop out often, i have a steelseries headset and the wireless connection is absolutely amazing never lags or drops out or anything so im leaning more towards the gamebuds (im kinda in the same situation i need wireless earbuds with low latency)
Yes i looked at the sony inzone buds, soundcore vr p10 and the prismxr vega t1, but for now I feel like the steelseries are the best ones (being able to apply a eq and them remembering it is important for me, and im pretty sure the steelseries can do that), and I've had a really good experience with steelseries so I trust the brand
My favorite higher end for sound quality, build quality, ANC/transparency, features, and mic quality? AKG N5 Hybrid.
My favorite mid-range all around? Probably Steelseries Gamer Buds Artic X.

Best deal? Sony Inzone buds. I think you can still find these used for under $60, sometimes under $50. I wouldn't spend a full $200 price for brand new though.
Best budget? Anker P10. New they are around $60, used they are around $30.
I had them and loved the sound and fit, unfortunately that is where it stopped for me. They were constantly disconnecting from the dongle and I would have to put them back in the charging case and have them pair to the dongle again, sometimes they would completely turn my Xbox off with a disconnect. The left ear bud was always at a lower charge (usually around 10% less than the right bud). And they didn't keep anywhere close to the promised 8 hour battery life, that's with having them below 40% volume. I personally can't recommend them and wished that wasn't the case, but if you decide to pick them up I wish you all the best!
Agreed. I really wanted to the love them since absolutely no one makes a wireless set of ear buds for Xbox, but the cons outweighed the pros in my experience
I have not tried explore and I haven't seen presets, I've just gone with the plug and play approach, but they were my final choice after going through many top tier earphones and headphones to settle on these for a mix of sound quality, latency (or lack thereof), portability, comfort etc. If you have any friends that might let you try them, that'd help if you're not sure?
I can tell you to NOT get SteelSeries Artic Gamebuds. The mic is truly terrible. How my friends described it: "It's like putting a glass up against a door to hear you better, but you're underwater, in an aquarium, 3 floors down, in a building across the street."
