I don't know what the price is there, but my steelseries nova 1 is great.
r/Gamer • gaming headset under £50 ->Nah, wouldn't recommend this. I have this and wala pang 1 year sira na ung mic and may static na ung volume control. Too bad lang at sa datablitz ko nabili, contacted both databliltz and steelseries and need ireturn kay datablitz for warranty, though di rin masabi ni datablitz kung gano katagal aabutin. so tinamad na ko, hinayaan ko nlng.
r/PHbuildapc • Headset Recommendation 2025 (Wired or Wireless) ->Hi, large headed gamer here. My hat size is 7 7/8 so I feel ya! What headset are you using? I bought the arctis nova 1 and within 5 min my head was starting to throb.
r/steelseries • Steelseries headsets for big heads? ->honestly the logitech headphones i use are nice, i do worry about the little band that it uses to make it fit my smaller head might wear down eventually though. but so far I've had them for about half a year and they are awesome. they are the steelseries arctis nova 1, maybe they will work for you as well?
r/GirlGamers • Best comfy headset for smaller heads? ->I really like the Steelseries Arctis Nova 1 set. It's 45 bucks on Amazon right now. [https://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Arctis-Multi-System-Gaming-Headset/dp/B0B8Q4CR52](https://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Arctis-Multi-System-Gaming-Headset/dp/B0B8Q4CR52)
r/playstation • What are the best gaming headphones in the $100 or less category? ->They're terrible. Literally Temu trash. Good headphones plus the DualSense mic are definitely better than this, and that goes for all the GameStop branded headsets. That said, there really aren't any half decent headsets at that price point. If you move up to the $30 to $65 range you can find a lot of good stuff like Astro A10, Logitech G432 or G435, HyperX Cloud III or Cloud Stinger 2, or SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1. But keep in mind that these are still budget headsets with the quality to match. They'll beat out the DualSense mic, but might not match the audio quality of your headphones depending on what you have. Edit: Also worth noting that everyone who has said anything positive about these so far have a vested financial interest in convincing people to buy this garbage. Stonkbros love anything GS puts out regardless of quality.
r/GameStop • Is this headset good or should I splurge for the $25 one? ->My pair of Steel Series Arctus Nova 1P headphones keep disconnecting from the earmuff to the headrest. It is held together by a single screw. The majority of Steel Series headsets are designed in such a way, and because of such issue, I advise staying away from them.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best cheap gaming headset – Hidden gems or avoid budget options? ->I just got my steelseries arctis nova 1 headset for 100 Canadian which is around 50-55 for u I believe. Same good quality audio as my Astro a40 and mic seems better than the Astro
r/Gamer • gaming headset under £50 ->Meh, I'm familiar with the brands mentioned in replies. Here's the best by a wide margin: SteelSeries. I picked up the Arctis Nova 1 wired version from Walmart 6 months ago for $49. Man....I can't even explain how much better this is than other headsets I've used. Most comfortable over ear headphones I've EVER worn. Audio quality is like a high end audiophile pair of headphones. Mic is awesome, can hide away, and sounds great. There's a reason why it's won awards for best headset. It simply dominates the competition. It's simply on a different level, whoever you get this for will adore you. If you don't believe me get one from SteelSeries and then your second choice, and keep the one you like best. The difference is comical.
r/buildapc • What is the best wireless gaming headset for a 14 year old for his birthday next week? ->I have been using the steelseries arctis nova 1 headset and they work great. good mic, good sound and very comfy. also has 360 degree sound so good for fps games
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Gaming headphones for 100$ or less? ->SHP9600 with vmoda boom pro for open back or Arctis Nova 1 for closed back
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best headset for rainbow six siege/competitive fps gaming? ->I use a steelseries arctics nova. I got it fairly recently (like a month ago) and i can hear the smallest of sounds when I play pretty darn well. It's also fairly lite weight and has a long battery life.
r/Rainbow6 • Gaming Headset you use ->Had Astro a50’s for years and years and swore by them. Got these and they have way better audio quality, better features etc. the kids and highs are so crispy and clean you can hear tiny details that I never heard on the Astro’s. Since they are closed back the sound stage isn’t mind blowing but it works well and you still get great depth
r/steelseries • Your Opinions on Arctis Nova 7/7x/7p?n ->I had no luck finding a decent all pink headset. But I really love my current headset. I have the Steelseries Arctis Nova in white! You can swap out some of the white parts with pink accessories they sell. Like [this](https://steelseries.com/gaming-accessories/nova-booster-pack?color=rose-quartz). You can also buy replacement ear cups from third parties that are pink in color!
r/GirlGamers • Pink headsets recommendation? ->I'd stick with the standard Arctis line, not the Novas imho. there's not a lot between two two, I think Novas as slightly lighter, but their headband wasn't as comfortable. They felt cheaper too. Plus whatever they did to the mic, wasn't as good as my original Arctis 7's. The entire soundstage wasn't as good in fact. I refunded mine to get the Pro wireless, which has its own issues tbf and I honestly considered going back to the standard Arctis 7's, or 9's.
r/steelseries • Your Opinions on Arctis Nova 7/7x/7p?n ->They’re comfy and do their job well. A bit pricey tho
r/steelseries • Your Opinions on Arctis Nova 7/7x/7p?n ->Are you still enjoying them as much? How fast do they recharge if they run out? I use my headphones quite a bit and one of the best things I find with the arctis novas is I can just fast swap the battery, but I'd love having a smaller (and portable) solution in general.
r/steelseries • Got my Arctis Gamebuds yesterday. They have made a fantastic first impression and could very well be my favorite gaming headset. ->Steel Series Arctis Novas are always a solid choice. The band on the headset makes it the most comfortable over others.
r/GirlGamers • Good Gaming Headsets to Buy ->I just bought mine and have used it for a few days. I find when the EQ is adjusted with 3D audio turned off on PS5 for headphones they work very nice. I wear glasses and I can get a nice comfortable position as well I have a MacBook so can’t use Sonar :(. But using GG engine I used another Reddit user settings and find them very good. The mic is very nice and sounded good to my son when we played Borderlands 3. https://preview.redd.it/f4wnagbqsk1e1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b8cd369f953847fe916700602e2cb606d1d56604 The above is another user from Reddit. These are the settings I am using. He suggested turning off 3D audio due to artifact it causes in the sound signature.
r/steelseries • Your Opinions on Arctis Nova 7/7x/7p?n ->any steelseries headset, preferably arctis nova
r/buildapc • The Best Gaming Headset to Buy Now? ->Make sure to try on a headset that has a web across the top so it's not hard plastic on the top of your head. I have the steelseries arctis novas and they're so much more comfortable than my previous pair.
r/HuntShowdown • This game is so fucking good ->Problem with this headset is no chat/game mid wheel like the old arctis 7. You have to use their software to balance it now. Old Arctis 7 is the best headset I’ve ever owned. The nova line lacks their best feature (chat/game mix wheel) and feels cheaper than the OG Arctis. Only positive over the OG is USB-C charging. Overall the nova line is fine, but I would not tell anyone that they need to buy this headset like I used to with the OG.
r/steelseries • Your Opinions on Arctis Nova 7/7x/7p?n ->Yes. Headset with amazing sound stage for 3d audio is incredibly detailed and immersive. Try a 3d audio game with any set of headphones you might have lying around. (I use an old set of fairly chunky hi-fi headphones). Buying a new headset I concur with other people who said Arctis steelseries with the 40mm "Nova" drivers. I honestly thought they would be a bit rubbish, at least a step down from the previous 50mm in bass. But wow, they're surprisingly good. I have a sort of neckband thing for VR racing, it feels like a HANS device and gives a sort of personal bubble of surround sound. It's a bit of a unique case, but I picked it up cheaply and it makes a huge difference (not isolated, not loud, and not TV speakers).
r/playstation • When you play games. Do you wear a headset? ->I would avoid Arctis Nova, as other people already said they don't last very long, go for HyperX-Cloud-Alpha, the metal beam is not going to break on you and they sound great!
r/gamingpc • Best pc gaming headset ->I'm replacing my virtuouso with the nova. The v's cups are too small for my ears and the headband fatigues my skull, they are super heavy aswell. I did like the build quality and the detachable mic though. Battery has been dieing much quicker after a year but that could be my fault.
r/steelseries • Is the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless for Xbox the best wireless headset on the market right now for Xbox headsets ->Do you want a head*set* or a head*phone*? The Sennheiser Momentum 4 is great but the ANC is weak. If you want a head*set* I’d up the budget slightly for a Fractal Scape. The Arctis Nova series is also solid, from my own demos. This is coming from someone who owns and has tried much more expensive gear, if that makes you any more comfortable with my recommendation.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best “gaming” headphones under 150 USD ->I have the SteelSeries Arctis 7 and SteelSeries Nova. The Nova is lighter and more comfortable if you have a bigger head. Unfortunately, even on the smallest setting my head is too small for it and it slides off easy. The Arctis 7 is heavier but because of the ski goggles band fits on my head very well. I mainly use the Arctis 7. I’ve had SteelSeries for many years and can’t imagine switching anytime soon.
r/gamers • What brand of gaming headset is the best? ->The Arctis ones do it with a cool little dedicated box where you can also control other things. I had some years ago and it was a very handy feature...though yes, windows now does much better, channel-based volume control. Still not as cool as a dial on a box though :)
r/PUBG • best headset for playing the game ->I live and breathe by the steel series arctis series. They have lasted me a LONG time and has withstood a lot over the years with zero damage.
r/buildapc • The Best Gaming Headset to Buy Now? ->steelseries arctis are as good as it gets for me. I've tested every major headset over the last year and they've been the best sounding and by far most comfortable. they suffer from some software issues when using in pc but outside of that i will be sticking with steelseries offeringsbfor the foreseeable future
r/XboxSeriesXlS • What's a good headset that won't break the bank ->I’d look into a hyperx headset. Those usually are good quality and last quite a while. I haven’t found one I’m not a fan of but I’m also not an enthusiast although I currently bounce between the alpha and a Steelseries arctis headset.
r/playstation • Best gaming headset under $40 ->Steelseries and something in your budget in the arctis series. I am on my 3rd model. I love the headband part that doesn’t press on my head, and the material on the earpads are so comfortable.
r/playstation • I need recommendations for a PS5 headset, I don’t mind spending a lot of money, what are your best suggestions? ->Just got these. I can recommend them. Not tested mic yet. As for comfort: I have a large head, and am finding the clamping a bit tight however, and the earcups just fit around my ears - it's a bit snug. Nothing bad, per se, but not quite in the super comfort zone of some other headphones. They'd be fine for gaming sessions, but not something I'd want to wear all day. I'd have preferred a bit more of a relaxed fit. On the other hand, a relaxed fit means very big headphone that can turn some people off.
r/FractalDesign • Fractal Design Scape - First Impressions ->Having owned the arctis, and now just picked up the Scape, I can tell you that it's in a different league to the Arctis. It's very good. Not quite as good as my high end audiophile headphones, but very, very good compared to most gaming headsets. I'd rate them in the same class as the Audeze maxwell. Happy to listen to music on them. Excellent controls too. And very nice looking in person. I have a large head, and am finding the clamping a bit tight however, and the earcups just fit around my ears - it's a bit snug. Nothing bad, per se, but not quite in the super comfort zone of some other headphones.
r/FractalDesign • Fractal Design Scape - First Impressions ->I love my Steelseries Arctis. It's a touch out of your price range but the features are top notch.
r/buildapc • Whats the Best Gaming Headset to Buy Right Now? ->My steelseries Arctis headset is still going strong after 7 years. I had a hyper x one that didn’t even last a month.
r/buildapc • Whats the Best Gaming Headset to Buy Right Now? ->Audeze Maxwell - Considered one of the best wireless gaming headsets. Popular with music creators as well as for gaming. Mic is reasonably good, though can clip a little. Comes with leather earpads, but they can be replaced easily. Drop + EPOS PC38X - One of the best wired gaming headsets for sound clarity and mic quality. Bass reproduction is a bit muted, which is common for older style EPOS / Sennheiser headsets, and common with open back headphones in general. The mic is essentially the best of any consumer headset you can buy. Generally can only be bought directly from Drop's site. Comes with both cloth and velour earpads. [https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-pc38x-gaming-headset](https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-pc38x-gaming-headset) Steel Series Arctis headsets are generally a decent middle ground in terms of decent bass and mic quality. The overall audio quality isn't as good as either the Maxwell or PC38X, but they're closed back so their bass response is more like the Maxwell. And the mic quality is generally better than the Maxwell, but no where near as good as the PC38X. Most (maybe all?) use cloth earpads. Nova Pro Wireless and Nova 9 are both quite good, with the Nova 9 being slightly better in terms of audio clarity and mic quality, but the Pro Wireless has better bass and noise cancelling.
r/buildapc • What's the best Gaming headset in terms of Sound quality and quality microphone? ->The Arctis steel series ones that are marketed for Xbox work with PlayStation too and I see now they have some PlayStation branded ones too
r/PS5pro • Headset recommendations ->Arctis steel series. I can hear more than my teammates typically with incoming cars etc
