I had Arctis Nova 1 and they after 1.5-2 years started to get worn and we're uncomfortable whole time, any longer 2-3h gaming and your ears hurts. Changed to wired Cloud III and oh boy, I'm not planning going back. I'd go for clouds

Hey, welcome to the gaming world :) I think listing expensive headphones here is not a great idea for the types of games you are playing. You really just want something that is comfortable. [Here is a list of three ](https://goopfinder.com/compare/?slugs=steelseries-arctis-nova-1,logitech-g321-lightspeed,hyperx-cloud-stinger-2-core) \- SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1 \- G321 LIGHTSPEED \- HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 Core Personally I always find SteelSeries to be comfortable and reliable. Work used to provide the Nova 1 for our zoom meetings and gamed with the 7 and now Pro wireless version and cannot be happier. If you start playing more and more games and begin to play them online with friends then I would look to upgrade later. Hope it works out well for you!

I just bought an Arctis Nova 1. Good budget headset. Right now I am trying to figure out the best settings for hearing footsteps. Stereo feels like it's not quite as percise as it should be, and the fake 7.1 Windows Sonic setting seems to help with things to the left and right, but then you cant hear a god damn thing in front of your face. Like I suddenly dont make reload noise or hear any narration.

I’d say get the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1. It is a good choice for glasses wearers because it uses soft fabric ear cushions instead of the sweaty fake leather found on the HyperX models. It also solves your durability concern with a completely detachable cable, so if the cat chews the wire you can replace just the cord for £5 rather than the whole headset

PS5 doesn’t properly support normal Bluetooth headsets, so you’ll need either a wired headset or a wireless one with a USB dongle. In your budget, getting both great mic and fully wireless is kinda tough. For the best mic quality, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1 is a great cheap wired option with clear voice. If you really want wireless, the JBL Quantum 360P is a solid pick with decent mic using a dongle. The Sony Pulse 3D Wireless Headset is popular but the mic isn’t the clearest.
