SteelSeries - Arctis Nova 5X Wireless

9x, 7p, and Nova 5x.

I work for a gaming retailer so here’s my take Unless you’re big into your audio tech and I mean to the decimal point advantage , you really won’t be able to hear a difference between a 60$ headset and a 100$ headset. Investing in comfort will be more worth your time and money. I prefer steel series and razer product, brands like turtle beach or RIG are perfectly fine too . Personally I use the steelseries nova 5X , it’s confortable , it’s multi platform (even works with my switch ) and has a good battery life

If you don't need audio from phone and Xbox in the same time (you can still answer your calls) then Steelseries Arctis Nova 5X.

Please tell me what I’m doing wrong. I have had so many problems getting them to connect to my Xbox that I’m thinking about buying new ones.

It would be helpful if you could list your preference for wireless or wired, and a rough idea of your budget and what region you're in. But personally, I recommend the Steelseries Arctis 5X or 7X. Steelseries makes several headsets in their Arctis Nova line, but the ones with the X next the number are Xbox compatible. I think they're a much better headset than the official Xbox Wireless headset, the biggest one being compatibility. The Official Xbox wireless headset is convenient in that it connects to the console using the Xbox Proprietary Wireless Protocol, so you pair it to the console like a controller. You can also pair it to a phone at the same time for music and taking phone calls. The Steelseries Arctis Nova 5X and 7X headsets come with a wireless USB dongle that you need to plug in the console, but the benefit of this is that they work on waaaay more than just Xbox. They are one of the few headsets that works on all platforms, meaning it can be used on Xbox One/Series, Playstation 4/5, Switch/Switch 2, PC, android, etc. On top of that, while the Nova 5X lets you toggle between the transmitter and bluetooth, the 7X supports simultaneous bluetooth like the Xbox headset does, so you can pair it to a phone and take calls while you are gaming. They also both have excellent battery life, and my favourite feature: they have retractable boom mics. That means when you're not gaming, you can tuck the boom mic into the headset and they look like normal headphones that you can use for things other than gaming.

Returned mine as well for Steelseries 5X, which for 200 bucks less were infinitely better. I messed around with the maxwell settings for hours and just had zero bass/treble balance.

Steal series arctis 5x 50 hours battery life, charging them up once a week is nice compared to the original Xbox headset charging it every 6 hours

Had my starfield ones for less than a year and both earcups are torn apart, bad build quality and function too as I had times where it took 4-5 on and off just to get it working, good headset for short term but terrible for the long term, you’d be better off with steal series arctis nova 5x

Steal series arctis nova 5x is my recommendation, I have the starfield series x headset and it’s a load of shit,in less than a year both earcups the leather has completely fallen off literally and I have to turn it on and off 4-5 times just to get it to work, also the nova 5x last 50-60 hours on a single charge and the Xbox ones last 5 hours, both similar price too

I have steelseries nova arctis 5x and are amazing! I recommend getting the Dolby atmos as well.

I like that Steelseries 5X headset has multiple EQs lightweight. Alienware headset is a nice one I really think the open back Atlas Air from TurtleBeach is a sleeper man I like that one. Are you playing solo or friends? IEMs are a crazy good budget pick $50 gets you great audio. Tell you what watch Gadgetry Tech on YouTube and get an idea of the idea headset and watch his review every headset (35+) I've waited till he reviewed and gave me a custom eq for FPS Music and SP to start with and you can hmu if you need an extra opinion on top of his.Rog Delta II another one i enjoy 

I've got it, indeed comfortable and long battery life. Once in a while it doesn't connect though, works after plugging receiver in again. No idea what's causing it.
