Hello, i‘m using the Steelseries Arctis Nova 7X (X is for xbox, so just ignore that) and i‘m using it since launch (2022) and hell no, i‘m not going to replace it anytime soon. It has the Battery Life of god, sound quality is crispy clear and light weight as a feather. I can recommend that. Btw there‘s a difference between „Steelseries Arctis“ and „Steelseries Arctis Nova“ - the „Nova“-Headsets are the „reboots“ if the original arctis-line.
get him a pair of Steelseries Arctis Nova 7x, i think it's cheaper now
I've got a full on 7.2.2 home theater in my house, a dedicated 2.0 vinyl setup and ~$1000 in headphone/amp/dac setup at my computer. Basically, most people would consider me an audiophile and I have lots of experience with higher tier audio. All that being said, 95% of the time I'm at my computer, I'm using my Steelseries Nova 7X instead and am very pleased with the way it sounds. The pretty decent sound quality, battery life and ease of use of wireless (being able to walk around and still talk to the buds) is so much better for what I'm doing on a computer the vast majority of the time. I pretty much only use the "audiophile" headphone setup when I'm truly sitting down for an intense listening session. Otherwise it's the Nova's getting used. I also have a $200 Shure MV6 standalone mic attached to my desk that hasn't been used in months. Does it make me sound better than the Nova's? Sure. Is it enough improvement to justify being glued to my desk to talk when I'm in discord or whatever? Nope.
I think the Stealth 600 is better. I got the Nova 7x and returned it in a week. Got a Stealth 700 instead and I can't tell you enough how good it is!
Nova 7P has a much larger and more accurate sound stage and also gets much louder than the 7P+ will in my opinion. I have the 7P+ and the Nova 7X which to my knowledge is essentially the same headset with the option to change the chat balance because you can on Xbox but it isn’t supported on the PS5. I started using my 7P’s with my PS5 pro because I’m not using my Xbox anymore and it was a healthy upgrade compared to my 7P+….
