I've got the arctis steel series that came out when the PlayStation 5 came out and I got the quote unquote PlayStation version but yeah if you go with the Xbox version it works on everything. The version I have also works on everything but the Xbox, the Xbox has its own adapter. They are super comfortable and I love them and you can hook them up to a computer and download software to change how they perform.
None of them they are all trash. My wife has the 7P and it is TERRIBLE. I recommend the nova pro wireless ps version. Mic is way better, drivers and audio quality way better. Has its own receiver for 2x inputs so you can have it plugged into a pc and a ps5 at same time. It’s just a way better product.
Arctis nova pro Great build quality no weak frame points. Great sound comparable to some of the lower end audiophile stuff, and it’s got hot swap batteries, sound profiles, noise cancelling, over ear fit.
Not this model, they have great bass. They are way better than the other models steel series out out, they are a totally different class. My wife has the 7p and they suck
Anything where you can listen to Bluetooth audio in addition to your gameplay. I have a Steel Series set for PS5 and the official Xbox wireless headset for my Xbox. Both great.
My steelseries nova pro x have been amazing 2 years+ now. This model was designed specifically for xbox and i love them I think they are around $200 now or may be a bit above the 200 range.
I had a pair of the predecessors but I sent them back. Incredibly painful to wear with glasses. I couldn't game for more than 1-2 hours. It left marks from the glasses frame on my head.
Audio differences between the Nova and the 7P+ are minimal. I owned the 7P+ before I upgraded to the nova and let me tell you the two major points that I noticed were better. 1: The fabric headband that the 7P+ uses gets stretched out over time and needs replacing, whereas on the Nova you can buy rubber ones and you won’t have the same issue. 2: The Novas support simultaneous 2.4 ghz and Bluetooth connections. So you can have it connected to both a PS5 and a phone and hear audio from both simultaneously. There’s also the fact that with the 7P+, you have to connect it to your PC to mess with its audio settings and adjust its EQ. I’m told the Gen 2 Novas now have mobile app support. I’d go with Nova
