"My Wireless Arctis Nova Pros are my daily driver because of how comfortable they are to use. ... Iv had my wireless Arctis Nova Pros for about 2 years now and I didn't even know there was a nub until I read this post."

"It's been awesome for the month i've had mine and is able to connect to xbox/ps5 at the same time as your PC and can have dual-channel audio going on at the same time."
"If you're also a console player or use your headset with multiple devices simultaneously, definitely the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless ... the Steelseries one has audio controls on its DAC with two USB and one 3.5 mm input (as well as an output for speakers and such) and can also connect to a Bluetooth device."
"have some really nice daily-use QOL stuff like the Bluetooth phone mix-in to main"

"The Nova Pro's have a nub on the inside of the ear cup for the noise canceling that sticks out quite far and it hits my ear. ... I can only wear the headphones for about an hour before my ears start to ache from that nub putting pressure on them. ... I've even gotten the thicker set of Wicked Cushions to try and get the nub away from my ear, but it still bothers me."
"The Wicked Cushions I got took care of the ANC knob for me and no longer have the issues."
"Grab the 3rd party cushion upgrades and he will be in heaven"

"Another problem I run into is that they're just not good headphones to use with iPhone - I have constant issues with Spotify like if I'm listening to music and I open TikTok, the video stops playing audio and I have to close all apps on my phone, play some stock audio from Apple and then open TikTok again and then it works. ... (That happens with almost all apps btw I was just using TikTok as an example) - or connection problems like having a higher battery percentage to just stop connecting than on PC and just random stuff like that. ... I don't have the problem using any other headphones with my phone so I just put it in there just in there because of that"

"The Arctic Nova was good, but after switching the sound and build quality is night and day with the Maxwell, it’s so much better."

"Steelseries just keeps resetting my default devices after each update of the app or GPU drivers update."
I play a lot of Valorant and love the Nova Pros with it
Gone from Xbox Wireless Headset (poor build that keep needed supergluing) to Nova Pro Wireless X over the past few days. I'm happy with them and considering my monitor doesn't have an AUX input, I can now use my Xbox and PC audio through my aux input speakers when my headset is turned off. Only issues I'm having is the GameDAC won't turn off when both the computer and Xbox are turned off (seems to think the Xbox is still awake or something). Read that an update caused this but it's been an ongoing issue for nearly 2 years and haven't seen any updates since. And it's abit annoying that Bluetooth turning on/off is with a separate button so the headset doesn't actually power off until both sides are powered down.
None of these, go with the arctis nova pro for Xbox. It can connect to any device and since it comes with two batteries you can hot swap and virtually have unlimited playtime. Best headset I’ve ever owned! I’ve purchased a few of the steelseries headsets and some from Sony (outside the newest) and these are by far the best.
It's worth it for what it is but my issue im having with it is that the mic after a while has trouble picking up your voice. It's funny cause I had the blackshark razor headset too and I got rid of that too cause of the same issue of after a while it starts to not pick up your voice.
Well i have the steelseries arctis nova pro x wireless for a little more than a year and it still feels like new. Ive only ever noticed the cracked hinges on my other arctis pro wireless which have fallen on the ground so many times, which is probably the reason for it.
Still good. I wish I would’ve known they were making a refresh with the white version before I bought the originals but I’ve been rocking the originals on all of my platforms with zero issues.
If you game on multiple platforms including Xbox it’s absolutely worth it. Rocking the originals still before their refresh and what I use daily for gaming. If you don’t game on Xbox then no and save your money and just get the non X. Their refresh(white ones)does not have the ANC issues.
Sure is with my wicked cushions!
I really enjoy the Steel Series Arctis Nova Pro set I picked up on a open box deal from Amazon for under $200. The GG sonar program allows you to customize every app's sound quality along with a virtual mixer for different games. Batteries are cheap \~ $15 for a 2 pack to double or triple your mAh capactiy (longer play time). It's been awesome for the month i've had mine and is able to connect to xbox/ps5 at the same time as your PC and can have dual-channel audio going on at the same time.
I have seen the sound measurements for these and they are nearly identical to the NPW. A bit more bass for sure but that's about it. The problem i had with the NPW is that if you move your head the sound changed drastically. Feature wise i agree that they are probably the best on the market but apart from that if you don't need said features then just buy something cheaper.
Hello. Im looking for gaming headset that actually f'ing works. Right now im using my Razer Kraken Ultimate, they have 5 years, the cable is wide open in many places, and i can hear more on the left than the right. They were "fine" for the past 5 years but it's time to replace them since they have not a lot of life left in them. I also do realise that Razer headphones are more about the brand than the sound itself. I got myself Steelseries Arctis nova pro X today, and already have to return them, they arent very comfortable around the ears (thats the least annoying part) But the microphone is absolutely garbage, or maybe i got a faulty one? (a lot of people complained on it) Anyways nobody can hear me, i can play with settings all day long and it wont help, im also not really into having extra program or 2 on my PC just so others can barely hear me. Call me old timed or stupid, but i prefer wired headsets, i was thinking about steelseries nova 7, but they only come in wireless. (and its again steelseries with their microphones) What else could you guys recommend me? (If anything) Im mainly looking for good headset (mostly FPS games) with microphone that works, i do not expect the microphone to be top tier, i just want others to hear me speak. Budget would be around 220 Euros, max 250 if the headset is absolutely worth its price.
Same here. The swappable "infinite" battery system is the best thing they could've done.
