I really liked my set of Steelseries H's back in 20-teens, having a backup battery ready to go in the base station was pretty cool, having a toslink connection made for zero line noise.... and I never ever would have purchased them at their asking price. I was lucky enough to catch a serious first time buyer/discount code/ holiday sale from somewhere at the time. I bet $350 of this is the steelseries name alone.
My Steelseries Siberia 800(?) are still going strong. Wirelessly been working every day for 20 years
Bought the exact same one a week ago. Not my first but the first in a long time. Last headset I had was the steel series Siberia and it still works. Needed a comfy wireless headset to get rid of the wires when gaming. Was surprised by the comfort and quality for 100ish. Ofc not comparable in sound quality to studio headphones with a bigger mic on a boom but for gaming it’s nice.
Same. I had one of their older headsets, Siberia or something? Absolute junk. Crappy sound, uncomfortable, poor build quality. The thing fell apart after like 6 months, which was actually a blessing by that point. Maybe their high end stuff is different, but I'm not going to be the one to find out lol.
Your experience may vary, but I HATED the A50. Without the amplifier, they are just awful to listen to. Want a better solution? Get the BLUE mix-fi. Why? They are cheap 2nd hand, has the amplifier built into the auxiliary plug, and are one of my favorite headphones. Too expensive? Vmoda m100. You poor? KOSS sportapro You have 200 dollars? SONY mdr z7 You dont care? Steel series Siberia. You want to endgame and have amazing audiophile sound? Sennhieser HD 600 or HD650 Want a portable solution? Bose QC45 I own 57 pairs of headphones, I can do this all day.
