I went with the Turtle Beach Stealth 500 a while back because it was affordable and wireless.

I tried the Stealth 500 and while the battery life was solid, the build felt cheap and the soundstage was pretty flat.

I tried the Stealth 500 and it was fine for casual gaming, the sound was decent and the battery life was solid, but the build felt a bit cheap and I had a couple random dropouts.

Don’t buy the stealth 500. Literally the worst purchase I’ve made in the last year. Mine straight up doesn’t connect to my laptop, then out of nowhere it does connect, only to have crackly audio and a non functioning microphone. Naturally, I thought drivers so I updated them. Still no good. Deleted all drivers and reinstalled, still no good. Honestly take my word for it, do not under any circumstance purchase this headset.

I went wireless for my Series X too because I kept snapping cords. The Turtle Beach Stealth 500 feels solid and works fine....but honestly I ended up liking the SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless better.

I used the Stealth 500 for a bit and while it was comfortable and the mic was decent, I ran into some connection hiccups and the earcups got hot on long sessions.

I used the Turtle Beach Stealth 500 for a bit and while the sound was fine, the build felt cheap and I wasn’t sure it would hold up long term.

man, i knew i should of returned this bitch from the day i got it. Time went on, and I realized how good it sounded and liked the light feel and design of the microphone, as I mainly got it for VR. The DAY before I couldn't return it anymore, things were happening, and I didn't think much of it. Months later, here I am and THIS THING WONT STOP BEEPING!! Not really in the market to buy another one. Hopefully, they fix it in an update, but other than that, it is a great headset. Feels like I was scammed in some way.

Im writing this a few beers but here’s my take. I wouldn’t get the stealth 500. I want to convince myself to love it, as it spend $80 on it. I do for the most part. The pros are: Sound quality is amazing, you can really hear everything a song has to offer hearing the different layers of vocals and instruments. Plus it gets loud enough to not hear anything around you. It has its own volume slider on the headset Itself which I find useful since you can turn your phone volume all the way up and just use the headphone slider. Has a monitoring feature that picks up the sound around you so you can hear with both headphones on. That you can also adjust on the headset. Which off is decently noise canceling. They have an easy to use app on both mobile and PC You can easily switch between Bluetooth on your phone to the wireless dongle connected to your PC or console with the click of a button that is instant The microphone is sleek too where ppl wouldn’t notice it if you used them in public but also picks up super well it games both when you have it up and when down. Also in phone calls when using your phone. Super lightweight and comfortable Now. If all of those sound appealing I generally would say too get it. Although if you did research knowing these things you might be able too get a headset with the same features but better. The CONS however are a decent bunch. Randomly every now and then, maybe about a few times a month. My headset will just start beeping, and disconnecting, and switching between modes and the voice of the headset will start saying stuff. You can turn the headset off, update it, ect but it doesn’t stop and goes for a good couple of minutes until I just take them off. Then the next day they’re fine for a good while. It happens on both the USB transmitter and Bluetooth on both my PC and phone. When I start my PC up and I don’t have the Swarm 2 app open my headset automatically turns to this weird setting no matter what I do to where monitoring is super loud and the slider on the headset doesn’t do anything. So I have to open it each day basically and select my saved profile on the app. They fit kinda loose maybe I have a small head but on the lowest setting they still kinda fall off my head if I’m looking down but I can generally live with it. CONCLUSION: I’m not going to buy another headset anytime soon because I do like it in the end and I can live with the flaws especially since other people are having them, knowing it’s not just me and hopefully, they can fix the issues in future updates. It’s a good headset for the price but I unfortunately did zero researching going in and just got the best looking thing at Walmart. So maybe you can find a better one for the price out there. It’s super fast in connecting. Sound quality is great. Mic is good. Comfy fit. Adjustable settings. Some connection issues. Generally a solid 7/10! I hope this helped I am now super drunk at the end of this and I just hope you get a great headset that works for you! Because I know I uhhh kinda did? Yeah. I love my headset. But maybe you won’t? Good luck my friend!

I have two Turtle Beach Stealth headsets, one for gaming and one for work, and I love them both. They’re the only gaming headphones I’ve found with pass through, it’s not great but any little bit helps since my wife gets mad when I can’t tell she’s trying to talk to me lol.
