Turtle Beach - Stealth 600 Gen 2 USB

Witch one are best for footsteps, I had gen 2 turtle beach 600, was the best for footsteps, but the mic is garbage, get all back ground noise, updated firmware, used apps to eq. But I guess is a eternal problem. I only use them when playing without mic. People complain also is annoying. The new gen turtle beach are getting background noises also?

If it’s only a good headset for overall gaming. Any top five or top 5 YouTube recommendations. But if you focus on footsteps for fps, it’s a hard time finding one. I got pulse 3d, turtle beach 600 gen 2, cloud x 3 and Logitech 300 family. The best one of these for footsteps was the turtle beach, but the microphone is garbage, it keeps getting any background noise, don’t know the gen 3 if they fixed that issue. I updated the firmware but is useless. The second best one of these four options for footsteps for me is the cloud X 3. But for overall gaming any one.

I was using the stealth 600 gen2 but my son got me the stealth pros. I like them both but the stealth pros sound just a bit better and are massively more comfortable. Which stealth set are u rockin?

I just got the 500s, and this mic seems very flimsy. Have you had any problems with the mic? My gen 2 600s seem way more solid even after all the abuse.

I’ve always had a positive experience with TB. Maybe I’m just lucky. However I have the stealth 600 for my series x and a lot of times the audio is cracking and goes in and out for no reason. I’m like 5 ft from my Xbox. I have to fully restart to make it stop

I'm using turtle beach stealth 6 wireless headphones. Garuda saw the wireless dongle right away and headphones work fine.

Absolutely not. I had to use them for ever and they just end up hurting over time. Px3's were the same way and they were also turtle beach.

I've had two pairs since they first hit Walmart lol, they hurt over time lol

I used them all thru covid, I did adjust them plenty of times, I just ended up buying a new headset

I returned my Turtle Beach 600s for the new Microsoft headset, way more comfortable, and no audio lag. It just works.

I love my turtle beach stealth 600’s I can swap back and forth between my laptop and Xbox, by toggling a switch on the usb, then hitting a button on my headphones. Also the battery lasts really long, and doesn’t turn off by itself ever.  I think they are good enough for DayZ, I almost always hear the other player before they hear me.

Not great had two recons kill themselves after 1 year and am on a stealth 600 on the way out. Decent features but piss poor long term quality.
