Turtle Beach - Stealth 600 (Gen 3)

The best wireless options within that budget are the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 (the version that's Xbox/PC compatible is generally the cheapest, at least on Amazon), and the Logitech G535 LIGHTSPEED. Both should perform around the same as the headset you have sound wise, something that's better would likely cost around £100.

https://a.co/d/a4wkZ3p I got these recently and they're by far the best sounding speakers and mic for under $100 I could find. They also have the most feature rich PC/mobile app for EQ of both. I tried several Logitech and Rig headsets at this price and they all had absolute dogshit mic quality.

I'm using turtle beach stealth 6 wireless headphones. Garuda saw the wireless dongle right away and headphones work fine.

I see a lot of comments about the Xbox wireless headset. I still have a launch headset when it first came out. The only issue is where the ear/speaker connects to the headband, it cracked. I super glued it but haven't used them since. My daughter had the same pair and hers broke at the same spot. If you take care of them you should be fine. Mine look new and they sound great. I picked up a TB stealth 600 Gen 3. So far they have been great. Same features as the Xbox wireless ones plus you have an app on your phone to make changes to the settings and EQ. The cost is about the same so I would recommend either one.

Xbox turtle beach was the best for affordability. It’s also wireless, operates in Bluetooth or through dongle receiver, and is fairly durable if you store them safely after use.

If you can still get them (and if he doesn't have a standalone mic) then the turtle beach stealth 600 is great and usually less than £100

I returned my Turtle Beach 600s for the new Microsoft headset, way more comfortable, and no audio lag. It just works.

Avoid the Razer Kaira pro you have in the screenshot. Only lasted me 2-3 years untilt it failed. On both sides they started to crack and then eventually failed. The stress point isn't fit for purpose. I now use the Turtle Beach Stealth 600. Increible battery life and no complaints. I prefer the fabric/aeromesh material for the ear cups. I find that the pleather material flakes after a few years. I love my turtle beach stealth 600’s I can swap back and forth between my laptop and Xbox, by toggling a switch on the usb, then hitting a button on my headphones. Also the battery lasts really long, and doesn’t turn off by itself ever.  I think they are good enough for DayZ, I almost always hear the other player before they hear me.
