Stealth 700 (Gen 1)

I would recommend a pair of Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3’s if you’re looking to get a high end headset, on Amazon they’re $169.99 on sale, the PlayStation headsets are trash for longevity as in they literally fall apart but the wiring is good and the speakers still work regardless to their credit, my last pair of PlayStation one’s were the Silver’s and they literally fell apart from the adjusters, I had got a pair of Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 1’s and the only thing was that the ear pads disintegrated because they were imitation sheep skin, but I after those I got a pair of Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2’s which actually were an upgrade in quality because they moved towards memory foam ear pads, better drivers which sounded better and they’re still rocking, I gave them to my cousin and they’re working just fine still, I’ve moved on to PC and have a Hi-Fi sound system but for console I’d recommend Turtle Beaches high end (only high end bc they’re reputation is tarnished bc of their lower end $25-$60 range headsets) line up

Depends on your budget, of course, but I have a pair of turtle beach stealth 700 and they're really good on Gentoo, 2 dongles, Bluetooth. There's an issue I have with Manjaro where the sound daemon doesn't pick up the device properly after it's been power cycled, and I have to replug the dongle on that machine. But I've never had that on my Gentoo box so I'm assuming it's either some oddity with that laptop or systemd being systemd again on that machine.

I dropped the money on turtle beach stealth 700 series. Best headset I've used and durable. If you can, I would recommend it. They work for everything I've tried them with so far. Ps5 switch phone portal PC.

Check out HyperX. I had them when I was a younger lad playing call of duty and throwing them around the room in frustration and they never broke. Good price too and mic/sound quality is great. I have upgraded to turtle beach stealths as a grownup and turtle beach sent me a shipping label to send them back when I couldn't get them to connect to my Xbox and they sent me a brand new pair and the entire process took like a week and I didn't have a warranty or anything

I personally use a turtle beach stealth something something I think its the newest one. Great audio, good mic, good quality, and its great on both PS and PC.

I have two Turtle Beach Stealth headsets, one for gaming and one for work, and I love them both. They’re the only gaming headphones I’ve found with pass through, it’s not great but any little bit helps since my wife gets mad when I can’t tell she’s trying to talk to me lol.
